Breckenridge Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-3)

This is a very nice, updated 700 sq ft true ski in/out condo, not a studio. One large bedroom with wall-mounted TV/DVD/VCR. Main living area has a flat screen TV with DVD/VCR. A comfortable leather couch that has a pull out double/full size bed with brand new memory foam mattress. There are only 6 units in our building. This is a perfect setting for couples! Big covered balcony with great views ! Wood burning stove that easily heats unit up in minutes, and electric heat as well. For your convenience we have a stacked washer and dryer in the condo. You can park your car 10 feet from your door. We purchases a new memory foam mattress for our Queen bed - my back couldn't take the old mattress any longer ;-)

The Four O'Clock ski run is about 30 feet from door and you ski DOWN to the Snowflake lift. There is also a free bus that will take you to town or other peaks. My wife and I just bought this place in 2009 and we use it all the time. If we are not renting it we are probably there, we love it very much and enjoy sharing it with people who appreciate a 'non-mega-resort' type setting, with many of the same benefits. Last July we had a moose and her baby about one blocks from our condo on the Saw Mill hiking trail. Then there were 2 Bull Moose below our balcony ! They also have chair lifts in the summer that will carry your mountain bike.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could think of, you are also welcome to the many beverage mixes we make available, (gourmet coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, etc.). There also will be a Red Fox that will show up around 5 p.m. and he is quite friendly. In the summer we have seen moose from our balcony, and there is a reservoir full of fish about 3 blocks away with a hiking trail that comes out right by our unit. We also have a free-ride park for bikes next to the ski run across the street. Our building is located on a quite dead end road with only a few luxurious private homes.

Warning: They recently added a gondola in the town of Breckenridge surrounded by a HUGE parking lot. Now everyone renting in Breckenridge is advertising ski in/out. They state 'next to gondola' or 'one or 2 blocks from gondola', this is never the case, and these are not at all true ski in/out. Also, if you are looking for a large resort like setting, (i.e. Beaver Run, Trails End, etc) this may not be the place for you. They will have upwards of 100 units per building, and you could be walking 10 minutes or more just to get out of the complex - but they may have more outside amenities and may be better suited for larger groups or children. Finally, if you are college age looking for a place to party this is definitely not the place for you.

About Dave & De'Anna

My wife and I purchased this property in September of 2009. We absolutely love our condo and all that Summit county has to offer. We spend as much time up there as possible, about 10 days a month. We love the outdoors, and are amazed by all the things to do so close to our condo. I have been skiing since I was about 7 years old and skiing has been my favorite hobby for the last 37 years. My wife has been skiing on and off for about 10 years - I also snowboard. We both ride motorcycles (trail bikes), snow shoe, hike, camp fish, mtn bike, etc. We just had our first baby, (boy), this past August and that has really changed our lives quit a bit ! Our Christian faith is most important to us and we enjoy sharing our faith, fellowship, and ministering to others.

Why Dave & De'Anna chose Northwest

We bought our unit because it has been a life long dream of mine to own a ski in/out. We also love Summit county, the mountains, Lake Dillon, and the town of Breckenridge. We also love the summers here especially for Mountain biking & hiking.

What makes this condo unique

I learned after we bought the condo that there is an reservoir full of fish about 3 blocks away. From the reservoir there is a steam that runs through a wooded valley right below our unit. It has an awesome hiking/biking trail where we have seen moose, beavers, and I especially like to wear my polarized glasses and watch the rainbow trout swim around in the shallow water. There is also a 'free-Ride' Mtn bike park right across from our condo next to the ski run. They also have a chair lift for taking your bike up in the summer.

Outstanding!

I've stayed at several VRBO condos over the years, and this was definitely the nicest. Super well maintained, with quality furnishings and amenities, and right along four o'clock run. What's not to like? The mattresses were amazingly comfortable, especially after a long day skiing. You can tell it's an owner-operator unit, and not managed by some property management firm, because of the obvious attention to detail. Dave, the owner, was readily available to answer any questions that came up, and was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and look forward to coming back next year!

New favorite place

Of the four different properties we have rented on Four O Clock Run, this is definitely our favorite. Everything is perfect from the location to decor, to amenities, etc. It is very well taken care of, and nicely updated. The property owners take great care in the condition of the property as well as the guest experience, and it shows!! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This ☺️

If there were a ten star rating it would not be enough for this delightful condo

We fell in love with it and it became our home for the week. It's the perfect size for a couple- so cozy - so very cozy. The deck looks off of the living area. The deck is pleasant and a great place to read or just have some quiet time. The kitchen is well appointed. There is an eating area off of the kitchen. The furniture in the living area is very comfortable. There is a nice flat screen mounted in the wall

The bedroom and bathroom are very well done and the bed is very comfortable

The location is perfect- very close to town.

Now two things that made this extra special rental even better. First. We have stayed in many many

Rentals from VRBO. This one is exceptionally clean- exceptionally.

Now the beat part- the owners are so so,delightful. We only spoke on the phone. They answered questions about the area and checked every couple of days to see if everything was ok. We sure hope to meet them next time AND There WILL be many next times. This was the perfect rental experience.

Best vacation ever

My husband and I stayed here at the end of August and let me tell you, this place is amazing! The condo is roomy and so very clean! They have spared no expense making sure you have everything that you could possibly need. Condiments, kitchen supplies, a humidifier for the bedroom (which we used EVERY day and night by the way). You can tell that they love this place and take great care of it. We had so much fun sitting on the deck at night watching the hummingbirds and staring at the beautiful mountains. Towards the end of the week we were even lucky enough to get to enjoy a full moon. I have to say that this was the best vacation my husband and I have ever enjoyed together. We spent the mornings hanging out on the deck sipping coffee and planning our day. Lunch usually consisted of dining at one of the local restaurants (Breckenridge Brewery has an amazing Elk Burger and they have gluten free buns!) One day it was kind of gloomy so we decided that we would walk to town and check out a few different restaurants for happy hour. We ended up having a wonderful time and enjoyed some great food and drinks. Being able to walk or take the free ride bus is a HUGE plus if you are going to have a few cocktails. Afternoons were spent relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and hanging out in the condo reading and sipping wine. I have a lot of food allergies so we made most of our dinners at the condo. I was quite impressed how well-stocked this kitchen was. We had everything we needed and more to make many delicious meals. My husband and I just cannot say enough great things about this place. We felt right at home, slept wonderfully and got to enjoy the beauty of the mountains all in one spot. We can't wait to come back next year!

Enjoyed Our Week

This condo is as advertised and all pictures are up to date. The owner was very helpful answering questions and there was information sheets in the condo to assist our stay. The kitchen is well supplied and even a few extras like hot chocolate packets. The living room area had comfortable furniture. We never used the wood stove, but there was plenty of firewood available if needed. The bathroom was nice. A little tight, but it did not hamper our stay. The bedroom had a nice closet and dresser along with night stands. The bed is we believe one of the "gel" types. A little firmer than we are used to but we slept good.

The area we really loved was the deck. Very good views and of course the fox was just below like a dog in the yard a couple late afternoons. We filled the hummingbird feeder and attracted three to four of them. The hummingbird's must be doing steroids because they are much bigger than we are used to.

There all nice and easy hiking trails very close to the condo. Being "flat landers" we started on those and then took on Quandary Peak. All and all we enjoyed our week and had great weather to boot.

Fantastic!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. It is in a great location- could walk to Main Street. The condo was very comfortable and suited all of our needs. Loved the deck- beautiful view of mountains and town. We also enjoyed our daily visits from the neighborhood fox. The owners were great to work with- we would definitely recommend this lovely place. Hope to return again soon!!!
