Welcome to our family-friendly condo in Fort Morgan, AL. Are you ready to make memories with your loved ones? Fort Morgan is a quiet community about 25 minutes from Gulf Shores' main attractions. Our condo is decorated with coastal cottage beachy décor.

The Space:
*King bed with ensuite bathroom
*Twin hallway bunks for the kids with a bathroom across hallway
*Memory foam queen sleeper sofa in the living room
*2 FULL baths with tub/shower combinations
*Full-size washer and dryer.
*Open-concept kitchen, living, and dining rooms with pool and obstructed Gulf views

Soak up the pool views and partially obstructed Gulf views from the private balcony. A counter height 4-person table was added to the balcony after the pictures. Enjoy ships passing by on the way to Mobile Bay. Beach items are provided in a deck box on the balcony.

To access the pristine white sand beach, stroll down a short paved walkway to the community boardwalk. The walk takes about 5 minutes or is roughly 1 city block. Enjoy miles of relaxing white sand, protected dunes, and sea life. Dolphins can frequently be viewed from the shore. Professional tent and chair rentals are available at the beach.

The Dunes complex offers:
*Outdoor pool with a swim-through to the indoor pool (unheated)
*Hot tub, next to indoor pool.
*Community BBQ grill (please bring your own charcoal and clean up after yourself)
*Gym connected to the indoor pool

1 surface parking spot is included in reservation fees. An additional spot can be purchased for $40. Boat and trailer parking is no longer permitted. I am happy to recommend local boat parking if needed. 2 parking spot limit.

The Dunes condo is across the street from Tacky Jack's restaurant and the Fort Morgan Marina. Our condo is the last stop before the Historic Fort Morgan and Fort Morgan fishing pier. Area fishing info is provided in the condo. Take the ferry to Dauphin Island for a fun day trip. Don’t forget to watch for dolphins during your ride.

Absolutely Loved This Condo

This is my top #1 condo and will be one I will recommend to my clients (I am a travel agent). It was clean, fully stocked with things we could use (wagon, wave boards, umbrella, beach toys, anything kitchen including a clean air fryer), easy walk to the beach, very nice and clean pool area! The only “negative” comment I have (which wasn’t a big deal) is I wish it had a spray nozzle on the bathtub for easy hair washing for the kids and there was washing detergent so I could wash clothes and/or towels. But both bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of towels! We really enjoyed this stay and we will be back!

Peaceful Stay

Excellent stay at the condo! Jessica was very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and ferry to Dauphin Island. Condo was clean and well-maintained with extra amenities available. We visited during spring break and were worried about crowds but it wasn't an issue.

Pleasant retreat

This was our first stay in Ft Morgan and glad we chose it. It is a bit far from shopping and most attractions; but a good choice to have a white sandy beach almost to ourselves! This condo is a perfect size for two, clean and for the most part comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied for meal preps and dining; and the balcony roomy enough for 4 persons. Appreciated the full size laundry in the condo as well. Just a couple things to consider: we noticed an odd odor - mildew or maybe chlorine as we entered the condo each day (wondering if because the unit sits right over the enclosed pool/hottub); or because of a leaky toilet (that the owner promptly attended to when we notitified them). Bedding was comfortable, many many pillows! But, could have used a couple extra hand towels. (only one in each bathroom) There was constant construction going on building new homes just ahead of the property as well. Guess that cannot be avoided though. Entry/lock instructions should have included the press home button first. We discovered this upon a very late arrival and panicked a bit but figured it out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay as we found the area golfing great, pickleball too about 1/2 hr away and the trails in the area were nice.

Jessica is a great host. She was very easy to communicate with answered all of my concerns. The condo looks as it is pictured. One of the cleanest safest places I have ever stayed on vacation. The beach is secluded and some of the most beautiful white sand I've ever seen.

Family vacation

Dunes

Our family had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect location, away from the more crowded Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. The condo was a short walk to the beach. We loved that we were able to keep all of our gear at the beach for the entire week without anymore disturbing or removing our gear. It was so easy rather than hauling everything to and from the condo everyday. The condo was located on the second floor with a view of the water and located directly above the condo. It was nice knowing the kids could be in the condo, while my husband and I enjoyed a drink by the pool! The condo was clean with a fully stocked kitchen. We loved there were extras of any essential items (i.e, toothbrush, hand soap, dishwashing liquid). There was a binder full of great information regarding local restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Tacky Jacks was our favorite! There was construction at the condo, however, it didn't interfere with our stay. Jessica was a wonderful host who was quick to respond to my questions and any issues with the condo. Highly recommend! We'd love to return in the future!

A time to rejuvenate..........

Updated, beautiful and clean as shown. Easy access to room from elevator. Great view from balcony! Liked the fact we could drive and park close to beach if we chose not to walk in which we did a couple times. Very peaceful and quiet area!

Secluded beach

Condo has up to date furnishings. Short walk to beach. If you want to catch the ferry go to their Facebook page Mobile Bay Ferry for updated daily times. They don't always have both ferry running or cancel during Storm's

Wonderful Beach Get Away

This condo gave my family and I just what we were looking for, a place of rest and relaxation. Located outside of the hustle and bustle of the typical beach strip, this condo gives you a place to enjoy the beach outside of the city noise. Jessica, the owner, was very responsive to all my questions with planning and during our stay. The condo has the extras, beach chairs, umbrella, kids beach toys, all the things I don’t like to pack. A very nice get away! I hope to be back!

Wonderful location!

The condo was just right for myself and my nieces for our yearly get away. I always look for a place that has some extras such as umbrella, chairs, toys so I don’t have to take everything on a trip and was one reason I chose this rental. The other was the location. Near the beach but away from a lot of traffic. The pool was great also!

Girls trip

My daughter and I found the Dunes 205 to be perfect for our girls getaway. Jessica was a wonderful host, always just a text away. She was quick to help us with every question and even an unexpected hurdle. We will stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at “The Dunes.” Everything was easily accessible and the privacy was nice. The only issue we had was getting into our condo with the code. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect Spring Break

The condo was lovely! Everything was thoughtfully provided and organized. Our weather was terrible so we didn’t need the beach toys or wagon. If you have little ones, there are even plastic utensils and dinnerware just for them! I just can’t say enough about Jessica and her communication. Definitely will be returning!

Wonderful Place

This place was clean and well appointed. We’ve stayed in lots of VRBOs at the beach and this house was by far the best well-stocked. Beach toys, beach wagon, “extras” that you may have forgotten, you name it. All my questions or messages were replied to immediately. It is a slight walk to the beach, but it’s safe and easy. The pool and hot tub were great! Yes, there are repairs going on, but it was fine. There was even a white noise machine in the bedroom! So clean, so nice. We loved it!

1st time Gulf visitors

We loved the Dunes. It was perfect for our family. Great Ocean view. Perfect little walk to the beach. We enjoyed the hot tub (only wish it stayed open later, but nothing the property owner can do about that), workout center and pool. The host always kept us update on everything. Very appreciate of that! The kids are already begging to come back!

Needs more dining options

Re: location & neighborhood. Some distance from most restaurants and grocery stores was a negative. Neighborhood is quiet if that is what you’re looking for.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love the quiet white sand beaches in Fort Morgan. To the west of the complex, there are 3 miles of protected natural shoreline/beach/dunes. There is more wildlife and less crowds. No wonder several TV shows have filmed in the area. The condo is still close enough to enjoy Gulf Shores attractions and restaurants. When we walk west on the beach, it feels like we are all alone on an island. My kids love the hallway bunks and indoor/outdoor pool.

Plus, I provide family-friendly items like a high-chair, kids' dishes, and cups. I am happy to provide fishing tips, dolphin spotting tips, and other hidden gems around the condo. Staying in Fort Morgan saves you money. The tax rate is 10% less than Gulf Shores!
