The location of the property was amazing! We were right on the beach, which made lots of beach time easy. We could just grab what we needed and go, without much planning. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The unit is dated however. Older furniture, appliances, etc. The bedroom closets both also had items in it, which made them somewhat difficult to use. The space is small to begin with, so that closet space would have been nice to have. In summary, we had a nice time and would return if we ever come back to Maui.

We loved our stay here

We loved our stay here and wanted to stay longer! The location was great, and it was super convenient with kids to just walk right out to the beach in front. The place is very nice and comfortable with a lovely balcony. Very responsive host too. We hope to come back!

So nice to have such a great beach right out front, good snorkeling, saw turtles, good boogie boarding … 5 palms in the near by hotel was under renovations so no happy bar to walk to. We did walk down to the Wailea beach walk and Uber-ed back… we would book again

Perfect Location!

We had a wonderful stay at Hale Hui Kai. The check-in process was organized and easy. The communication was prompt and helpful. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a week stay. We would definitely stay again if possible. Mahalos!!

The property is great, the location is excellent. The communication with the managers was super easy. The only problem we had during our stay - there was not a single sharp knife to cut a watermelon. This is only one improvement that we can think of. Thank you!

Perfect piece of paradise

We have stayed in this complex a dozen times but never this unit which I would say is by far my favorite so far. The kitchen was fully stocked and updated. There were plenty of chairs for our group, coolers and an umbrella. We were surprised to find a welcome basket of fruit which was a nice touch! The management kept us informed of complex maintenance and checked on us throughout our stay. We had a great time and will definitely be back

I have stayed a Hale Hui Kai 5-6 times over the years. 202 is my least favorite yet. However the property is still wonderful.

Clean and comfortable

Clean and spacious for our family of four plus Grandma. The location is amazing, close to Kihei as well as Wailea. We saw Turtles in the shallow water every day! Enjoyed snorkeling right outside the property. In the past we have stayed further south in Wailea. This property is on the same famous beach, Keawakapu, that we enjoy so much. Some beach toys and four beach chairs, plus umbrellas and beach towels. Great value!

Family vacation

The property is old and it needs to be updated. the bathroom are the original and the screens have never been cleaned so opening the windows did not help that The hole place smells of mildew. On a positive note the local is outstanding! Beach is great!

Location location location. This is it. Between Kihei and Wailea. On the water. Can't beat it. Only downside was the pool is definitely not heated. Not a huge deal but you should know.
