Why Larry Guilbault chose Pine Island
This property has been in our family since 1974. The house was built in 1985 and has had tender loving care ever since. We added the huge 800sf sun deck a few years ago. What a fun place to relax and enjoy the view of the Gulf of Mexico. This year (2013) my wife and I we gave it a fresh coat of 'beachy-baby blue' paint. We love it. Hope you will too.
What makes this House unique
Pine Island is pleasantly close to everything you could possible need but remains private and off the beaten path. This is our family's private beach home and has always been maintained and treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Everything, except weather, medical issues was just GREAT
We spent a wonderful time in this nice home next to the beach! The owner is really nice, he has done everything to make us feel good :) The house is comfortable, clean, well equipped with un amazing view. Pine Island is calm with a nice beach, dolphins and rays, we really enjoyed our stay.
A perfect place to relax
Such a lovely home on a great little island. The owners Larry and Cristina were very friendly, extremely prompt at getting back to me, and a pleasure to get to know. The home itself is on the middle of Pine Island, offering beautiful sunrises and especially breathtaking sunsets. The house was clean and stocked with all you would need. The local beach is a nice five minute walk. I especially liked parking my car underneath the house, as it was never hot! I definitely want to return next year.
Thoroughly enjoyed the beach house! Amazing views and sunsets are incredible! Soon relaxing. Highly recommend it.
Comfortable, Clean, Calming
An absolutely beautiful view of sunset over the Gulf of Mexico and a wonderful "Good Morning" scene with the sun rise. An easy 1/2 mile walk to the end of the island is good exercise. The private beach is an awesome place for quiet contemplation, reading a book, enjoying the dolphins paying in the cove, or picking seashells. The deck is a great place to gather for a late afternoon drink while watching the sunset. There are several fine restaurants within 10 miles with Italian, Japanese, Latin or American cuisines. And best of all a local family owned seafood market for the very freshest and best of Florida gulf seafood.
Love Love Love!!
Loved my stay at Pine Island!! This house has everything you need. I was happy that we were on stilts or we would have had water in the house. :) The rain was awesome and peaceful. I loved it. Gave me a definite reason to stay and just listen to the sound of the rain. The covered porch was relaxing to sit and watch the rain come down. In a rocking chair!! I really enjoyed the beach as you can walk pretty far out and not be over your thighs. Looking for shells without a boarder was fun to do. Dolphins right off the shore. So close you can see everything about them. The beach was so peaceful as it is very secluded and away from busy populations. If you want people? This is not the place for you. If you want a place to relax away from everything? This is the place to be. That is the beauty of this home.
