Historic older home. Comfortable beds and bedding. One bathroom with stand up shower the other with a beautiful tub. Large kitchen and pantry. Loved the front porch. With nice chairs to unwind. We just thought the porch needed some cleaning as well as under the beds and baseboards which could be remedied easily . Property management company personnel were attentive.Walking distance to a quiant town with good restaurants and bars. 30 minute ride to Stone Mountain. Oh and the trains do go by. We didn't mind the sound.Over all a great place to stay.
My family and I were in town for a wedding. With the hassle of driving hours to get to Atlanta and being stuck in the traffic this location made us feel like we were at home once we arrived. The description, cleanliness, location, and easy access to assistance was impeccable. My family and I were very comfortable. Thank you for such a peaceful stay!
My company has a showroom in Norcross that I visit a few times each year. Wanting an alternative from the same hotels, we rented a small white house last year and now this bigger home in 2024. We will be back.
This was wonderful. So spacious and near to great restaurants in old Norcross. We made Thanksgiving dinner and had a blast with family that came over to celebrate. We moved from ATL in 2013 and this was the first time we were able to celebrate in person in 10 years. Thanks again!
My daughter and I really enjoyed the house which is very close to the historic district of Norcross. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and the porches are a great area to unwind. The house is near the train tracks which can be noisy at times. I'd recommend sound machines to drown out the noise. Otherwise the location was great and the host was very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again.
This home was just as pictured. Beautifully remodeled- well appointed rooms. All the things you would need for comfort!! Beds were amazingly comfortable! Property Manager EXTREMELY responsive to small things that could occur at any home- new tv remote needed, fridge (breaker tripped but needed new wire)- these things did not interrupt my stay because of how quickly and efficiently they were taken care of. The home was also very clean with a wonderful scent that remained throughout the house. It was a wonderful, peaceful stay in a beautiful home.
The check in was super easy and they provided facts and information about the area. It was a beautiful historic house. The area was amazing. So close to the downtown area of Norcross. The house was big and had an amazing claw foot tub. Had family over and it was perfect to have dinner. It was clean and quiet. If you don’t like trains then you won’t like this spot. The front porch was awesome with the swing. Definitely would stay here again. The only thing is the WiFi isn’t very strong. Loved all the original details including the fireplace. Great trip.
Located near some great restaurants and parks. However, also located less than football field distance from a very busy train track. House was spacious, which was wonderful. However, area rugs were old and dangerous trip hazards. Two of the dinner table chairs were unusable and the bathtub leaked. These issues probably are long standing which makes me think the house does get a lot of love. Still…the home worked for a short stay.

It was okay
When we checked in there was a strange smell, the house in the pictures looks newer but it seems it was a quick cheap flip house. The bathrooms aren’t great, the sinks are tiny, the tub in one bathroom is just a tub with a handheld shower head but no shower curtain and one had the smallest shower stall with the rain showerhead and the toilet was under the sink and the flooring seemed to be squishy under the toilet. The train tracks are very active but it wasn’t horrible once you got used to it. There are also houses right behind this one that also seem to be VRBO so beware of that. Close to historic downtown but not in it. Overall it was an okay stay for a work trip and definitely beats staying in a hotel but wouldn’t rent this house again.

Huge disappointment
I’ve stayed at VRBO properties for 20 years. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed. The check in link didn’t work. I spoke with their support line multiple times to get into the property. Very frustrating after 16 hour drive to have issues getting into the property. Next, the property is across from train tracks. Trains whistling till 1am then started again at 6am. We sat in sofa and it collapsed with brown leg. The property manager replaced it the next day but also mentioned he was going to trash it as this was the third or fourth time it had broken. We were lucky no one was hurt. The faucet in the hall bath was not screwed in. The bathroom in the primary bedroom was 6’x2.5’. I’m small but had to sit somewhere dressy on toilet to avoid hitting my legs on sink. The photos make the property look newly renovated but the property is worn and scarred. Felt like I was staying at motel 6 but paid ritz Carlton price

This house is adorable. Location was convenient to Flint Hill. Well decorated. Kitchen had minimum furnishings. Property managers were aware it was for the groom's family wedding weekend. We also rented the house next door for groomsmen. The bathroom in the master {with king bed} is TINY. You can poop and brush your teeth & spit at the same time. It really is too tight for adults. The shower is almost unusable for taller people. Also only one of the bedrooms had closets at all. The master had a dresser but NOTHING to hang wedding weekend clothes. Only one of the other two bedrooms had a closet. It was very inconvenient. I notified them that I fell on the porch upon arrival and they didn't really seem concerned at all.I would rent again but if you are coming with dressy clothes you need to being your own clothing rack. there is plenty of room but it was a pain to not be able to hang up formal clothes anywhere.
Great location for walking to downtown Norcross, good communication with the host, and super comfortable beds. The train is pretty noisy so be aware you will wake up a lot. Check in procedure biometrics feels like overkill.

Glad the beds and the location worked out well for you. Sorry the train was a bit much—we keep sound machines there to help, but those tracks are definitely part of the downtown Norcross experience!
