This is the second time we have stayed here, the first time we were on the bottom level and both times have been amazing. Love the porch view of the ocean and fishing is a short drive. Might be the last time I stay before I move down here myself but this is an amazing spot!

We love this — and are delighted to learn of your second successful trip. And... your plans to move here are a common Crystal Coast phenomenon. Some come to stay and never leave!
Had to leave due to inclement weather and NO REFUND
Although the area and property were perfect for the stay, due to a Tropical Storm approaching I ended my stay two days early and with good reason as the island was flooded Sunday. When I contacted the PM Saturday they would not offer to refund my two last night stays as there wasn't a mandatory evac. ordered. Again, nothing at all wrong with the property but to not refund us after needing to leave a potentially dangerous situation is a bit over the top.

This review needs clarification. If you are traveling to the coast of NC during the summer & fall seasons, you may encounter weather. Our policy, along with any travel insurance policy would be, if the area is under a mandatory evacuation, then you would be refunded for only the days that is in effect. AT NO TIME was this NORMAL summer rain event cause for evacuation- in fact NOTHING even happened. The island was not flooded, no one lost power, and it was sunny for most of the day, with some rain and rain showers. We had informed you, that you should do what you felt best to do- you decided to leave during a on and off rain event- very common and under no circumstances was it necessary to leave. We cannot offer refunds whenever someone sees a rain cloud or there's a 15mph wind. Perhaps vacationing inland would be a better option.
