DETAILS: The Beech House is a pet-friendly 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home that sleeps 10 on St. Joseph Peninsula in North Cape San Blas. With Forgotten Coast views, this raised, 2-story home sits near the community boardwalk for easy access to the beach and is located next to the community swimming pool. Each level boasts a wraparound deck with spectacular West-facing sunsets!

Renovated in modern beach decor with new floors, appliances, furnishings, and artwork, this breathtaking beach home welcomes guests with everything necessary for the perfect vacation. On the main level, a cozy living area invites conversation over cold drinks with 2 comfy loveseats and matching accent chairs. The traditional dining area seats 6 on a mix of chair and bench seating, while the breakfast bar offers room for 6 more. Enjoy access to the 6-seat alfresco dining table on the screened-in wraparound deck, where guests can relish the cool Gulf breeze from plush seating. After a day at the beach, take advantage of the large outdoor shower—perfect for washing sandy feet! Guests can retire to the 2 comfortable bedrooms inside, with king-sized beds and deck access. There’s a laundry room off the main floor bathroom for added convenience.

Perfect beach week

We really enjoyed our stay & the location of the house. Very short walk to the beach and nice pavers and path to use. House feels brand new inside and kitchen has high quality appliances, pans & dishes. Nicer than any other house we’ve stayed in. Would book again for sure. Thanks Beech House

This is a nice house. It just has not been cleaned or taken care of. I.e. a sand in the couches ,bedroom dressers and nightstand drawers. Entry doors were dirty with handprints. None of the TVs had the ability to show current news or live sporting events and when it did come on, it would glitch every 30 to 60 seconds and freeze, Repair man said these TVs were too old to be compatible to work with streaming or casting and could not fix .

Great location and views

This home was in a lovely location- a very quick walk to the beach and all-day views of the beach and bay. The closeness of the beach and pool were really wonderful and made for such a convenient experience. All bedrooms were almost identical in size, all with small bathrooms (very little counter space or room for any belongings). The AC worked well downstairs and stayed very cool, while the upstairs rooms stayed warmer. I brought this up to the rental company and there wasn’t much they could do to change that due to homeowner restrictions. All rooms have TVs, however not all of them are functioning properly. We brought this up as well, and they promptly had a representative come to help out, however all were not repaired. One television didn’t work the entire stay, while some had some ongoing technical issues. The refrigerator setting unfortunately froze all of our produce,dairy, etc and upon putting it on the lowest setting, continued to freeze our groceries, which were mostly ruined. If you’re staying here- keep the setting at 1! The community pool is very close to the home. It’s small and was very cloudy and dirty during our stay. The water became increasingly dirty over the week, and was filled with dead crabs for a few days. We contacted the management company, and unfortunately the pool wasn’t cleaned for a while. We lost 2.5 days of swimming, which was really disappointing since the pool is our kids favorite activity and one of the main reasons we booked this home.
