We went up for the Eugene Marathon, and stayed in this cozy home. The area was calm and had all the necessary items needed for a quick stay. Denise and Joel were lovely hosts and let us have a pre-race dinner with our group.
We were moving our daughter into her dorm at UO. This location was perfect. It was just a few minute drive to campus and the trees around the property made the setting very serene. The beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again.
We came to visit our son for parents weekend at the university. Great location and was stocked with everything you need. Close to campus and the hot tub was a bonus. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
This house is so comfortable! Great kitchen (we were there for Thanksgiving, so we cooked a lot) with great cookware and a nice kitchen. Cozy beds with plenty of pillows and coverings, easy house layout made playing games and relaxing with the family a pleasure. Good location in a very quiet neighborhood and very easy access to coffee and U of O campus. Would absolutely stay again next time we're visiting our Duck son.
So peaceful and relaxing. It’s a Beautiful area and took advantage of the walking trails. The home is very comfortable and the stay made our daughter’s graduation from the University of Oregon so convenient and easy. Wonderful to come back to a nice quiet house off campus.Joel and Denise are wonderful hosts!Thank you again,The Hevey family
I was glad to find this cute house in Eugene. Located in a hilly neighborhood with many mid-century homes. The appliances were new, and kitchen had everything you would need. The beds and bedding were super comfortable. I would book this home again.
The house was clean and in a wonderful neighborhood. The owners were very accommodating and checked in on us via email to make sure everything was going smoothly and responded instantly when we had a question. My family would love to stay agin if given an opportunity.
The property was advertised. In a nice and quiet neighborhood. The towels were great, nice and thick. The beds had actual warm blankets, instead of just coverlets. We were there for track meet, and it was close enough to campus, and the grocery store to be very convenient. The only down side, it did smell like the previous renters had a dog in there. So it had mild wet dog smell. Kitchen was well stocked, and we really appreciated the spices, oil etc that were in the kitchen. I would stay there again.

Lauren, we enjoyed having you and your family stay at the house. We're glad you enjoyed your stay, and would stay with us again. We were not told about (and did not authorize) a dog to stay at the house, so I'm sorry that it smelled like a dog had been there. Our policy is that guests may not bring pets, other than service animals as required by law.
Great house. Really cute. Lots of space. 6 people were comfortable. Lovely deck. Walter the metallic praying mantis. Good location. Clean. Things you need easily accessible. Labeled and ample sheets and towels. Well stocked kitchen. A good time for all!

About the host

We bought this house about two years ago, and have been upgrading it. It's a work in progress. We still need professional landscaping, for example. In the house, though, there are new skylights, windows, floors, and granite bathroom countertops downstairs..
We live in the house part time, with our dog. (There were cats in the house one year ago, but this should not be an issue for most people.) We have fallen in love with this lush, bucolic college town, and hope you do too!
Why they chose this property
Lovely forest views from the common areas, lots of light, and comfortable places to lounge. A bit eclectic.
What makes this property unique
An easy drive to the Williamette River, track events, and hiking, with a creekside trail just around the corner.
The previous owner was Japanese, and there are still some Japanese accents, like the Koi pond next to the front door.
