Ubicada en Tankah, a solo minutos de Tulum, México Villa Escapar es el escenario perfecto para unas vacaciones familiares, una excursión con amigos o una escapada romántica rápida. Esta lujosa villa ofrece suficiente espacio para alojar cómodamente hasta 12 huéspedes. Nuestra casa de tres niveles frente a la playa cuenta con una magnífica entrada abierta completa con una pintoresca fuente y dos cajas de escaleras sinuosas que conducen a áreas comunes lujosas y habitaciones privadas. Villa Escapar incluye 2 habitaciones privadas con camas king, 3 habitaciones con una cama queen, 5 ½ baños, una cocina de chef totalmente equipada, sala de estar con TV de pantalla plana y sistema de sonido envolvente Bose, y una casita a 30 pies de la casa principal. . La espaciosa terraza del nivel superior ofrece increíbles vistas al mar desde nuestras habitaciones privadas y cómodas habitaciones al aire libre. El salón de la azotea es el escenario perfecto para románticas puestas de sol / amaneceres, libaciones nocturnas o observación de estrellas. Disfruta de una impresionante vista completa del océano y acceso a pie a la hermosa piscina infinita completa con salones incorporados y un bar en la piscina con vista a la playa privada de arena blanca. Relájese en la terraza cubierta con 2 sofás completos, palapa cubierta, área de comedor y una hamaca. Nuestras palapas frente al mar incluyen salones de teca. La playa en frente de la casa es el lugar de anidación de la tortuga laúd, una especie en peligro de extinción. De mayo a septiembre ponen sus huevos y también puedes ver a las crías de tortuga salir del cascarón. Convenientemente ubicado, esta villa única en su tipo se encuentra a 75 minutos en auto al sur del aeropuerto de Cancún, a 40 minutos de la encantadora Playa del Carmen, y a poca distancia en auto de la ciudad de Tulum. We loved Villa Escapar. The caretakers Rubi and Arsenio are very sweet and they are there for anything you need. The house is very beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. I traveled with my husband, our nanny and our four kids and everyone loved the Villa. We plan to return at the end of the year. I highly recommend Villa Escapar.

a real treat!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Escapar. The house is excellent with great views, wonderful rooms, comfortable beds, and air conditioning throughout. The caretakers/chef's are even better. Ruby and Arsenio were the best hosts. They cooked delicious food all week and treated our group like family. It was so nice to be able to be able to stay away from the crowds and still eat gourmet meals. Ruby and Arsenio also arranged outdoor massages at the house overlooking beautiful Caribbean. They had the villa stocked with delicious food when we arrived and they went out several times to get special request items. John, the owner of the villa was a great communicator. He answered every question within minutes. You will absolutely love this house and the hosts!

Vacation in Paradise!

The house is beautiful but honestly what you can't beat was Arsenio and Ruby the care takers, they are amazing! From the food ,the cocktails and overall hospitality they are top notch. We could not have had a better stay. I did not want to leave. They made this vacation over the top. Thank you Ruby and Arsenio for everything, we will be back!

Property is NOT 10 mins from Tulum

The advertised location of this property was KEY to us deciding to book this house!! This property is nowhere near 10 minutes from ANY part of town in Tulum. It is located at least 30 to 40 minutes from Tulum. The location caused us to change plans in our entire trip as we were unable to travel to parts of town due to how far away it was. This also added significant cost in transportation due to location. Very disappointing. Other feedback - the 5th room is above a detached building on property, this was not made clear so we had to have some sleep on the couch to not separate group. House did not have any extra blankets or towels initially and AC did not work in one room until day 2. The house is nice. Host/chef were FABULOUS.

Home was beautiful. Road from highway exit to house very rough, full of potholes. Caretakers were great, live on property in adjacent structure. Beach had a lot of sea weed. But enjoyed pool and amazing views

Loved it! A fantastic family vacation.

This property was more beautiful that we ever imagined. The photos truly do not do it justice. There are no words adequate to describe the lengths that Arsenio and Rubi went to to make sure our every need was met (before we even knew what our needs were). The meals were delicious, the space was comfortable and clean, and the surroundings were indescribably beautiful and luxurious. Prior to the visit, communication with the owner was easy and beyond helpful: he answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. We highly recommend this property for your family vacation.

Highly recommend!

Excellent accommodations and even better hosts! Cannot say enough wonderful things about Arsenio and Rubi! They were so warm and welcoming, adding so many thoughtful details to our stay. The house was immaculate and was exactly as advertised. The ocean was pretty rough when we went, but Arsenio can direct you to a lagoon nearby. Water shoes are a must for the ocean. Definitely highly recommend!

Most relaxing family vacation EVER!

Not a care in the world sums up our stay at Villa Escapar. This was a great house for the 8 adults in our party. As soon as we were warmly greeted by Arsenio & Rubi & given the house tour we knew that we chose the perfect place for our family vacation. The view from the back of the house on every level was spectacular. All rooms were spacious, clean and had air conditioning. But by far the best part of our stay was the fabulous, most personalized, attentive service we received from Arsenio & Rubi. Every single meal was perfection. They even accommodated the most pickiest of eater in our group! We always looked forward to seeing them coming out to the pool with drinks in hand keeping us well refreshed & fed! It was such a treat & pleasure getting to know them and how well they were able to anticipate our needs. They truly made this vacation so relaxing that we could totally enjoy our time together as a family & not worry about the everyday details. We highly recommend staying here. Not only for the spectacular house, but for the most incredible, personalized service provided by such kind & caring people. This definitely ranked as our most relaxing family vacation EVER!

Beautiful private Mexican getaway

Villa Escapar is utterly amazing. We will never forget this vacation. Rubi and Arcenio make this place a home away from home. They both take so much pride in tending to your every need from the smallest to the tallest guest . 😊. When the wind blew a tree into the power line and electricity was lost for a moment , they still served an over the top dinner and resolved the situation without missing a beat. They truly care about making your experience the best they can. We will visit them again. ❤️ Make sure you have them cook for you everyday. I highly recommend the lobster , coconut shrimp , grilled steak and salsa verde! You won’t go wrong with any meal served. Thank you Rubi and Arcenio.

Fun in the sun

Villa Escapar is a sizeable home and large enough for big groups/families. The house is exactly as described. Ruby and Aresenio are amazing! They truly you want you to relax and enjoy your vacation with wonderful attention to detail. The food was delicious. We had them prepare most of our meals, except for the few we ate out.. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing Experience

My experience was amazing. The house and views were spectacular. The host were superb! The service was excellent. And there were baby turtles! I would recommend 10/10. I hope i can return and stay again soon. Ruby and Arsenio made the trip extra special with their accommodations and help during our stay. It was a great experience.

Our Slice of Heaven for a Week

Trip was magical…Rubi and Arsenio made the difference, turning a beautiful house into a home. We are a family of nine, 3 generations ages 5 to 73. We travel often, far and wide and love villas for the togetherness they provide. We count this as one of our best experiences, photos don’t do it full justice. 5 en-suite bedrooms, beautifully decorated, two with views to die for, provide ample & comfortable room for all. The family loved the pool, shade provided by palapas, the roof top at sunset and the layout of property and shared spaces. Beach was miraculous for nature lovers, gifts of shells and sea fans were nonstop. Hundreds of turtles were born while we were there and if you wake for sunrise you’ll catch eggs being laid, mamas covering nests & traveling back to the sea. A pure turquoise water cenote and beach front restaurant (recommended by Arsenio) are within walking distance and worth the time. Must admit you had to pry us away from the property as Arsenio and Rubi provide unparalleled meals and housekeeping tailored to your needs …we had a vegan and a gluten/corn intolerant eater in our midst. They actually crafted for our specific needs at each meal, even baking crepes with gluten free flour! All dishes rivaled 5 star restaurants, flaming desserts and all! Arsenio watches carefully and magically solves all issues, instantly, often clairvoyantly. Rubi keeps an immaculate house, with fresh soft towels everywhere. They are always near, cheerful but not intrusive. Property manager was also attentive and kind. Addressing others concerns: there are multiple TVs, fine mattresses /linens, 24 hour security; the entry road was well packed dirt and graded, no construction noise at our time and for those that don’t expect increased seaweed in August you just haven’t travelled (this year in particular), it’s a seasonal event. One that didn’t keep us from the ocean BTW. Water shoes are needed in the water, the beach is sandy, has turtle holes and is not too rocky. We recommend a car over taxis. We fished, caught tons & our 5 year old watched Daddy pull in a barracuda (Arsenio thoughtfully arranged a memorable experience for his 1st time). Massages and pedicures were arranged on no notice, all superb. Bottom line: don’t hesitate. I’ll let you discover the wonders of Mexico, we’ve been there a few times before. Please give our best regards to Arsenio, Rubi and their beautiful daughter. Thank you John for having us! We’ll be back.

Amazing House

Not sure where to start but lets just say this was an amazing house and if your on the fence, book it! We celebrated my husbands recent retirement with friends and family. We decided to use the food services through Ruby and Arsenio. What a fantastic option and the food was amazing. Every meal was prepared so nice and was so good. It was very reasonable and not having to cook or clean was a added bonus. The fresh margaritas were a hit and enjoyed by all of us( 8 total in party). We normally stay in resorts when we visit Mexico and this was the first time renting a home. The view from the home was breathtaking and it was also turtle time and we were able to see large turtles right on the beach from the house laying eggs, and babies hatching. One word of advise head to Sam's club or other grocery store before you arrive to pick up essentials and alcohol. The taxis to and from the store can get pricey. We are already planning to come back next year, Thank you John for supplying us with a great place to stay!

Return to Mexico

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Escapar. The home is lovely, the beds comfortable, and the best part was Arsenio and Rubi. They make the house a home. :) We went with our teenage and young adult kids and their friends, after not traveling to Mexico for over a decade, and really had a great time. We felt very safe, explored a lot, and enjoyed ourselves. Some feedback that is important. We were there mid-June, and all up and down the coast, the sargassum seaweed is an issue. The locals are trying to keep up with it, but it is physically impossible. I wish the world would step in and help. We are told October thru April is less of an issue, but we were startled at the amount and how it impacted the normally turquoise water. While we typically shop local and cook in the evenings for our large group, the kitchen in the home truly belongs to Arsenio and Rubi, so we had them prepare most of our meals. They. Were. Amazing!! Even had them teach us some of their secrets!! So be ready with cash because you will want them to cook for you. Truly, a vacation. If you tell them you want food ready upon arrival like we did, you will arrive to the best aromas ever, and delicious food and drinks to match. Cannot say enough good things about them. The items that I didn't give a 5 were location because of the seaweed and really rocky beach entry, leaving the water in the area not really swimmable. The beach was kind of crushed shells, so you needed shoes, BUT, the turtles were nesting so we had a little biology class right in front of the house! The other thing is, the road leading to the house. The neighborhood is well off of the highway, in a developing area, but the road is unpaved, and with frequent rains, it was pretty messy for driving and for our morning walks. It will be really great once they pave it. Overall, we loved our stay at Escapar, true relaxation and amazing food, comfortable beds, gorgeous sunsets from the roof top porch. The issues we had were not in the owner's control, but it is better to know before you go. I would definitely stay there again and get spoiled by Rubi and Arsenio.

Arsenio and Rubi are the heart and soul of a wonderful family vacation

We loved everything about our trip to Mexico but most memorable, for us and for our kids, was the incredible service and hosting provided by Arsenio and Rubi. The house is in a beautiful location, very safe, and very clean. Our kids enjoyed being in the pool by the ocean from sun up to sun down. Arsenio and Rubi prepared almost all of our meals for us. The food was fantastic and my children loved seeing how Rubi handmade the tortillas. We felt so well-cared for the entire time we were there. A house is a house, but Arsenio and Rubi made this a home away from home for us.

The beach in front of the house is the nesting grounds for the Leatherback turtle, an endangered species. From May thru September they lay their eggs and you can see the baby turtles hatch as well.
