Beautiful Beach Cabin close to everything!

Saloni Dave, thank you for your feedback. You reported the stair tread at 7:14 PM on 12/31/25 with a message stating, “just wanted to let you know.” Maintenance resecured the stair tread the following morning. You later shared that “you had a good stay overall”. We didn’t receive any other communication during your stay. The property provides several starter amenities, including a trash bag in the trash can upon arrival. We understand you are unhappy with the security deposit charge. The additional charges assessed were related to violations of house rules and checkout instructions, extra cleaning required after checkout, including a significant mess left in the home, the freezer, and vomit. Unfortunately, we cannot absorb expenses resulting from guest-related damage or excessive cleaning. We truly hope you enjoyed ringing in the New Year at the beach and wish you all the best in 2026.

Thanks - We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, a full fridge does take longer to cool than an empty one. This is because when the fridge is full, the air temperature inside can’t circulate as easily and therefore takes longer to reach an optimal cooling level. Additionally, if you are adding warm food or drinks to a empty refrigerator, it will further increase the time needed for it to cool down. To help your refrigerator cool quicker and more efficiently, try not overfill it with items and keep them spaced away from each other so that air can flow around them easier. If there are too many items placed in the fridge at once, this could increase cooling times. Once everything has been cooled off properly, temperatures should remain relatively stable until more food or beverages are added or removed. We hope you made lasting memories!

Phyllis, Sorry to hear your destination was not what you were hoping for. This home is a three-bedroom beach cabin and only one of the 3 closets is locked for cleaning supplies, sheets, soaps, shampoo, etc. Simply an owner's closet. This beach cabin DOES have walk over access and golf cart access close by (with-in walking distance); Does not have access to the beach by car but...Car access is also very close only a neighborhood away which many like as there not any through traffic with everyone coming and going to the beach throughout the day and night. Crystal Beach is a great beach for most everyone. Yes, there are times where music can be loud coming from those enjoying beach or riding the shoreline. Most find the atmosphere enjoyable spending time with family and friends. Crystal Beach does require that everyone who parks on the beach have a Bolivar Beach Parking Sticker and they do enforce that. The revenues collected from the beach parking sticker program are used to provide and enhance beach-related services on Bolivar Beach. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about loud music or parking stickers. Wishing you the best on your next VRBO destination. You might try a home closer to Gilcrest if you are wanting a more secluded environment.

Nona Kent - We are sorry the Beach Cabin did not meet your expectations. You requested the address and location of the home and with in 30min of your request you were provided with a map of the location and the beach access for this property. In many cases if you want a view of the beach, you really have to search for properties that are listed as beach front. This neighborhood does not have car access for driving on the beach. However It does have a close walk over as well as cart access. You are correct, there are 2 locked owners closets that contain all the cleaning and sanitizing materials for this property which include; fresh sheets, refills for the provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath soap, hand soap, lotion, dishwashing detergent, detergent and dryer sheets, toilet paper and paper towels, new kitchen sponge, etc. All the little things that make travel a little more convenient for a quick get away or a weeks stay. We are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience by providing a beautiful, clean, family friendly home where memories can be made that last a lifetime.
