Come stay in our super lovely Barn Loft at the Blue Heron Watch! A magnificent natural oasis well setback from the road with a wonderful stream fed pond. Take a short walk or bike to the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. Pop over to Rosendale(3 min) or New Paltz(10 min) villages or Kingston(15 min). With so many great activities in the area this unique well appointed unit is a great home base, or don't go anywhere and commune with all "the Heron" has to offer. Wildlife abounds here come share in it!

Pleasant stay in good location

We were very pleased with our stay. 13 minutes north of New Paltz and half hour away from Woodstock. Also had a wonderful dinner at Darlings very nearby in Tilson. Cute loft, inside very modern.

Gorgeous setting close to nature!

This comfortable, spacious one-room loft with separate kitchen and full bath was perfect for a weekend stay! We loved waking up close to nature, visiting local attractions in nearby New Paltz and Kingston during the day, and spending time on the terrace at night. We’d love to make a return trip!

What a lovely place!

This was in a quite remote, rural location - which is what we were looking for! The apartment is absolutely beautiful. It's simple, bright, has everything you need, the bed is great - firm but not like a brick - really nice art and a beautiful map of NY state on the walls. There were thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge for coffee and locally-made hand soap in a glass dispenser in the bathroom. Communication with Jon was top-notch; quick, friendly, and clear. The only small issue we had was that the front door combo lock didn't work - we think it was out of batteries - so we couldn't lock the door while we were away. Since we arrived after dark on the first night and there are multiple doors in the building, some more exterior lighting would have been helpful (the photos you sent of the combo lock and the door handle saved us, though). Thanks so much for a really restful and comfortable stay!

Warm, cozy accomodations just a stone's throw away from Minnewaska State Preserve

We were thrilled to be greeted with warmth beneath our feet with radiant heated floors that enhanced the simple, yet stylish esthetic of this beautiful property. We were close, but not too close, to the town center where great restaurants and stores were located. We came up here to hike so to have Minnewaska so close made the trip up the mountain easy. The property owner was accessible and responsive at any point I had reached out. We look forward to staying here again.
