Great stay! You don’t know exactly which property you’ll be getting until you get there but we were placed in a one better than we expected. Maybe because it was the off-season and there were several available. The island is small and there are lots of beach access locations, places to fish, small shops and small restaurants. Nothing commercialized. The condo had everything you need: soaps, towels, tp, paper towels, dishes, cookware, etc. Amenities were great: 3 pools, hot tub, mini golf, tiki bar, Pros & Cons restaurant (accepts reservations) and lots of other bars and restaurants close by.Check-in must be in-person with ID at the main gate/front desk welcome center and you have to go thru a bit of a process there but it was not high pressure to attend the offered timeshare presentation. I will warn you…the listing says that you are able to enjoy the amenities on the day of check-in/out, however, on check-out day our wristbands we were given that serve as room keys/gate access to amenities were deactivated and the front desk said “they changed their policy” and refused to reactivate them after checkout time at 10:00am. Bit of a disappointment but we still enjoyed the island for the day and went to explore the Edisto State Park. Overall it was a great value property for a weekend stay.
Enjoyed our short stay. Close to the beach, bike trails, quiet time of year to visit. This is part of Wyndham but couldn’t get any answer for the number given to text for information. Wristband key was convenient. Living room furniture could be more comfortable. Tv in bedroom didn’t connect to signal.

The resort staff was friendly. Construction is ongoing on the actual building next door...not in a neighboring resort. It's the other two of the 3 buildings in the Marsh section of the Ocean Ridge resort. Our unit needed some significant repairs - the dishwasher unit slides out when you pull the top rack and the hairdryer nearly caught on fire. The design of the door leaves an open window to the hallway with no curtain - while it may not bother some guests, we found it uncomfortable and hung paper towels over the door frame to drape the window. Resort amenities were nice enough for the off-season. We enjoyed playing mini golf.
