Perfect for large groups or families who want the privacy of a private beach but still easily accessible to all the attractions of Roatan.

Casa Ohana Kai ( Hawaiian for Family Home by the Sea). *Electricity and water are charged off of a metered rating checked before and after your stay. Fees are determined on your usage and can range anywhere from $1-$400 depending on your usage.

Great stay in Sandy Bay

Great property! Very well maintained and communication was excellent with the manager and owner. Only thing I would change is we should have stayed longer. Would definitely come back again.

Roatan beach vacation

We arrived to an awesome house with a well outfitted kitchen, the house has a nice layout with many different spaces. Outside there were kayaks and paddle boards that we used right out front. The outdoor shower was very convenient to rinse off the salt water after a swim or snorkel. It’s a wonderful property and I would gladly stay there again.

Wonderful home in Roatan!

Overall, my family loved this house and our vacation in Roatan! The calm beach was perfect for the young babies and children and the kayak gave older individuals the chance to snorkel out by the reef. The wifi worked well - several individuals were on zoom calls at the same time and had no issues. Air conditioning and fans were great. We loved the location - quiet area but 5-10 minute drive to great restaurants. There is also a dive shop walking distance along the beach which was great. The property manager was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The house could have been a bit cleaner and it would have been nice to have more towels, more kitchen dishes/utensils, and better upkeep of the sliding doors/screens. We emailed the owner with specific details in case they are not aware of how the property manager is maintaining the house.

Ohana Kai house

The house was good/ok for our group of 12 people. Great views, beach, and good quiet location. They provided us with a great contact for transportation. The experience could have been much better - the house does have a few problems. The water pressure in a couple of the bathrooms was nothing more than a drip and toilets had hard time flushing. With a group of 12 - there were only 4 bath towels provided. When we requested more along with wash clothes - we were told “no”. I had also Called about the bath room issues and they came to look but nothing happened. The basement rooms had a musty odor but were set up nice. The house has a lot of potential. But they need to provide the amenities like towels, soap, more than a sheet on the beds or light throw blanket on the beds.
