What an amazing stay! The town itself was lovely, with great food options (Otto's was the best) nearby and plenty of national park space nearby. The house was super clean with incredibly soft sheets, a beautiful fully stocked kitchen, a clean hot tub to watch the stars from, and a great view of the aspens changing! The vrbo owners were super communicative, checking in on our stay and answering any questions we had. We'll definitely be coming back!

It is a very clean and comfortable home. We used all 3 rooms and the stay was great. We had the best time. We are far enough away from town that we have our privacy but close enough we could just run right in. It was the perfect place for our family 2 years in a row.

I will begin by saying communication with Ginger was excellent. She was very prompt when responding to our questions and made our stay great!The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a great stay. I would certainly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the FairPlay area.Once last mention, the neighborhood moose were awesome as they walked right by the back deck one morning!

Great house

The house was very clean, kitchen stocked with essentially cookware, seasoning dishes etc. kids loved the air hockey table and king sized bed in a secondary bedroom. Wife loved the heated floors in the master bathroom and hot tub. Ginger was great and responded very quickly to any questions asked. Straight forward check in/ out instructions. Even has a cool fishing pod a half mile down the street.

Fabulous Stay!

We (2 adults, 2 kids under 5 years old, and a small dog) stayed at the property for a long weekend. It was great! Very comfortable and well equipped. Everything was extremely clean and as pictured. We saw big groups of elk very close to the property (it was nearly birthing season!). But I think the highlight of our stay was a visit from two moose right outside the back door!

This is a wonderful cabin located just a short drive from Fairplay in a very quiet, peaceful, and picturesque setting. It is an incredibly comfortable place with everything you could possibly need for your stay — and even more.The property is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. Every detail has been carefully considered to make guests feel at home.Ginger was an outstanding host — caring, attentive, and always available if needed. Her hospitality truly made the experience even more enjoyable.While visiting, I highly recommend exploring the open-air museum in Fairplay, which beautifully tells the story of the town’s 19th-century history through a large collection of fascinating exhibits.The surrounding area is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning mountain views, beautiful lakes, and endless opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of Colorado.I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.
