Spacious - Single Story - Clean-4 Bdrm - 3 Full Bath- Minutes to Bethany Beach!

4 bedroom, 3 bath rancher a short six minute drive to Bethany Beach. A two minute drive to Bear Trap Golf course and three minutes to Sea Colony tennis courts. A 15 minute drive to Rehoboth Beach, 20 minute drive to Lewes Beach and Cape May Lewes Ferry, 25 minute drive to Salisbury, MD and 15 minutes to Ocean City, MD.

**Very large open concept living space…Detached two car garage for bikes or motorcycles. Large yard for kids and exceptionally clean home. Dog friendly (2 small dogs maximum) under 20lbs each only. Lawncare waste clean up fees will apply. You must clean up the waste after your pet each and every time (lawn has irrigation and sod) pick up fees of $125 will be charged. The tenant must meet landlord at check in (no exceptions). If the tenant cannot meet landlord with photo ID access will not be granted to friends and family. Do NOT ask for me to make an exception if any pet you are bringing is over 20lbs. If you contract to rent and bring a pet over 20lbs you will be asked to leave and you will forfeit any payments.

For clarity, my property has (2) queen master bedrooms with attached full master bathrooms (stand up showers only) in each bedroom. Also, two separate bedrooms each room with (2) twin beds with a shared full bathroom (shower and full bathtub) in shared hallway. Bonus/Rec room with large surround sofa (seats 7), additional refrigerator/freezer, and additional dining table with seating for ten people. Perfect for game night, eating crabs or just hanging out. Rec room will also allow additional sleeping for premium queen air mattress (left on onsite) for two additional guests, to allow sleeping for a total of ten people in the house. Five Smart Tv's, WIFI, all new appliances, full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, crock pot and coffee pot. Rear detached garage for storage of any beach items you bring, ie…motorcycles, bikes, beach wagons etc. I have provided couple of beach chairs and a beach umbrella for tenant use.

**Extras included: Exterior Gas Grill (you are responsible to fill propane if runs out), wooden collapsible crib with blankets and sheets and high chair. New rear paver patio with exterior dining table with unmbrella. You must close the umbrella after every use, if damaged during your stay you will be required to replace the umbrella for like kind and quality. I provide private trash service, and lawn care weekly.

For a small fee of $85 I will provide ALL bedroom sheets, pillows, blankets and linens for ALL bathrooms $85 (towels/hand towels/wash cloths). Tenant must pay a small fee of $100 for laundry services to be completed by us if linens are purchased during your stay. No smoking in the home, rec room or detached garage AT ALL for any reason! Owners are local and available and can be contacted with any questions or needs anytime during their stay.

Property is a local favorite, only minutes to beaches, golf, tennis, grocery stores, local restaurants and Tanger outlets. Property is very private and modern with all the top amenities! Rents out very quickly and many clients return year after year.

If your NOT paid in full 10 days prior to your stay your reservation will be cancelled for non-payment. Unless your pymt schedule reflects otherwise.
No smoking at all in the house, rec room or the detached garage is allowed. Pick up your pets waste OR incur a $125 pick up fee for lawn clean up.
Rinse off all sand prior to entering the house, use exterior shower or hose. If drains are full of sand you will incur bill for this costly repair.

Great family get away.

We had a wonderful stay at this very clean and well supplied house. Great kitchen to make meals and a large dining area to feed a big group. Lots of yard for our 2 small pups. Short drive to Bethany Beach.

Cozy, quiet, close to the beach.

The house is as charming as it is inviting. It's small and easy to get around, while still having plenty of room between the three beds and three bathrooms. I especially like the big backyard, where we saw fireflies in the evening.

Family vacation

The house was nicely sized and open . Big island to hang out in kitchen and nice size den for games and late night hanging without waking the kids . Access to grill and patio for some outdoor dinners or lunch . Overall we enjoyed our stay and the house . Quick access to main strip with stores , restaurants and beach .

Wonderful place to stay!!!

The owner is absolutely amazing! She thinks of everything! The home is clean and comfortable. It has a great layout. It is not far from anything. And, we were able to bring our 2 little dogs! Highly recommend staying here! We are already thinking about it again for next year!

The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of room for our family of 7! Only negative was difficulty using code to open front and back doors. Front door was a little easier. Despite the code thing we had a great time and would definitely come back! Ty!

Mabe's Place was my grandmothers (Mabel Layton) home for half a century. When she passed in 2019 my husband and I were given the option to purchase the property. We completely replaced plumbing, electrical, insulation, knocked out walls and replaced the entire interior and exterior. My grandmother would be so proud of her home. In honor of my grandmother we named the house "Mabe's Place". She loved her family and I know she is in Heaven delighted we have decided to share her home with other families to bond and make wonderful memories! As a young adult I would joke around with her and call her Mabe Babe, hence the name of our property "Mabe's Place". She was a wonderful, godly woman, who was a Sunday school teacher for 55 years, she lived until she was 94 years young. We believe Mabe Babe still visits the house, often a red cardinal will fly into the front exterior camera and stay there hitting the camera to get our attention. We know Mabe Babe is very happy when people are there the red cardinal does not fly into the exterior cameras but is visible and noticed by our renters, but as soon as the house is empty the red cardinal returns to the exterior camera. From this we know Mabe Babe loves when families are staying in the house so she can watch from afar the love and memories being made in the home she loved and adored!

Our property is in new to excellent condition, completely remodeled in 2021. All new kitchen appliances, with new washer and dryer, most every small kitchen appliance, fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, the option to rent all bedding and linens (towels) for all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The linens ie...bedding and towels are available for a small usage fee and we will launder them after your departure so no taking home even more laundry to wash.

We have installed a Smart TV in every room with a larger Smart TV in the family room. All new HVAC with 24/7 monitored smoke detectors and property alarm system including the rear detached garage. We tried to think of everything you would need so you have the most comfortable stay! If we can help in any manner please reach out anytime!
