Located on the quiet north end of Amelia Island, at Main Beach, Seaside Cottage is the perfect location to see all that historic Fernandina Beach has to offer. This 2 BR/ 1BA cottage is the perfect getaway for a small family, or up to 4 adults. It sits on pilings overlooking the pristine waters of the Atlantic. The only thing between you and the ocean is a sandy one-way lane (15 mph limit) used to access these quaint family beach homes. Enjoy the beach like a local! Salt Life Restaurant and Sandbar Kitchen are only two blocks away and are open for lunch and dinner. After enjoying dinner and drinks with an ocean view, enjoy a round of mini-golf , treat yourself to a snow cone or just enjoy the oceanfront park while the kids play on the playground. You will love this quiet, safe beach where City of Fernandina Beach Lifeguards are on duty between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

After a day on the beach, stroll downtown to the Historic District to enjoy dinner at one of the many fine dining establishments. You will find everything from sandwich shops to 5 Star Restaurants. After dinner, swing by the local coffee shop for dessert and a cafe au lait, or cross the street to Fantastic Fudge to watch candy being made by hand. Don't forget to check out the local boutiques, art galleries and antique shops.

After the sun goes down, you'll want to visit the local pubs, where you will find a variety of live music. Bike, moped and golf cart rentals are available from local vendors. Each Saturday morning there is a local farmer's market where you can buy everything from fresh vegetables and artisan breads to handmade enchiladas and boiled peanuts. If you prefer a pool to the ocean, the City of Fernandina pool, with its incredible kids splash pad is a 5 minute walk. Non-residents can use the city pool for a nominal fee. The kid's will enjoy the many parks and playgrounds, all within walking distance.

The light-filled cottage is beautifully decorated in blues and bright colors, and features a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, an additional Keurig and toaster. It is equipped with dishes, cutlery and pots/pans for eating in. The cottage has central heat and air-conditioning. There is one TV equipped with Roku so you can stream your favorite movies and shows. Guests sign in to their own accounts. There are two bedrooms, one has a queen-size bed and the other has twin beds. A Pack-n-Play and a high chair are available upon request. The bathroom has was recently renovated and has a tub with a shower. The front of the cottage boasts a large deck overlooking the Atlantic, complete with rocking chairs and a large deck box containing beach chairs. beach There is plenty of parking for a boat or jet ski.
