KING size bed, HDTV, kitchenette w/cooking necessities, Keurig, nicely sized bathroom with toiletries and towels, in-suite w/d, beach chairs & towels.

Heron Hideaway is little paradise! The location was perfect and the place itself is beautiful. Relaxing and so well done. We loved being there. The hosts are so kind and always available. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Fernandina Beach. We highly recommend this and would definitely come back here on our next trip to Amelia Island!

Heron’s Hideaway is a tranquil beach escape that exudes charm. Steeped in history and natural beauty, Amelia Island, Florida is the southernmost jewel of the Sea Island chain of barrier islands off the southeastern coast of the United States. Pristine, uncrowded beaches envelop the island’s east side which is only a three-minute drive. I give 100% credit to my talented wife on how Heron’s Hideaway was decorated! With a king-size bed and elegant furnishings, Heron’s Hideaway is complemented by a spacious bathroom with a terrific, oversized shower! Down duvet, plush robes and slippers, Eco Botanics bath products and comfy sheets satisfy the senses on every level!

This was one of the best vrbo rentals I have ever stayed in. It was clean, very well decorated, and well thought out. Our hosts were wonderful and available for questions. We were less than a mile from old town and all the Amelia/Fernadina hot spots. If we ever make it back we will seek this spot out as our number one choice.

Edged with natural Appalachian quartz beaches and framed by sand dunes. Amelia Island's shores have long been a source of beauty. And, the ocean's average temperature during the summer?
