The house is quirky but comfortable. The outdoor space is wonderful. We had a great time sharing meals under the gazebo, paddling the river and exploring the area.

Enjoyable stay

Cozy place near the water. Good accommodations. Be prepared for intense farmland smells in the evening. (Smelled like a petting zoo outside every night) not sure if it runs off into the water.

Hi Jaron, I’m glad you enjoyed the cozy setting on the River. No one has mentioned the smells before, and I haven’t experienced it either. Maybe the farmer across the road fertilized his land? My apologies your timing wasn’t better.

Hi James, with the rains and floods this spring, we weren't able to get the landscaping done on schedule. Apologies for the mud and unfinished yard. We hope to show you a nicer experience in the future.

Girls get away weekend!

We had a wonderful mom’s weekend away at the rental! Spent our mornings sipping hot coffee on the swing, yoga by the water and reading books on our kindles on the cozy couch. Afternoons were spent floating on the water with the provided kayaks, peddle boat and paddle boards. Evenings were spent by the fire, grilling, listening to country music and enjoying a cold beer. We enjoyed the huge variety of games available to us, keeping us busy after the mosquitoes came out! We couldn’t have wished for a better stay. We definitely will be back and next time, for an extra day or two!
