This one bedroom unit is in an outstanding slopeside location, with true ski in-ski out access. By skis, you and your family can be at the Wizard Chairlift or ski school in less than a minute. A nice relaxing scenic stroll to Whistler Village for shopping and dining will take less than ten minutes.

New built-in air conditioner for those hot summer days! New Weber propane barbecue grill on balcony.

From the private balcony and living room window, you have an amazing view of the mountains. You also have a great view of the Wizard chairlifts moving up and down the slopeside. You also have a clear view of the heated outdoor pool from this room.

This unit being newly renovated, there is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is a new 46 inch flat screen television above the fireplace with access to many channels, including the high definition channels. There is also a flat screen TV and a new king size pillow top mattress in the bedroom for a good night's rest.

The family will enjoy year round access to the complex's big heated outdoor pool, three hot tubs, and a fitness room. Whistler is a year round resort area with so many things to do.

Note: Optional underground parking is available at The Aspens complex for $17 CAN per night (which has nothing to do with us). There is a limited number of free parking on the street from October through to June.

About The Owner

My family and I live in Maple Ridge, British Columbia (which is about 50 minutes from Vancouver and about 3 hours from Whistler). With three boys, we have enjoyed our family time up at Whistler. We have owned this unit for less than a year, so there are many activities we have yet to try up at Whistler. After a fun filled ski season, we are looking forward to some time biking along the trails and swimming in the pool.

Why The Owner chose Upper Village

Whistler is less than a three hour drive for my family. This allows us to take full advantage of the many recreational opportunities available, all year round. Most recently, we enjoyed the excitement of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic events and celebrations.

What makes this condo unique

While staying at The Aspens, we enjoy relaxing in one of the three complex hot tubs and swimming in the big year round heated pool. There is also a newly renovated fitness room in the complex. Having ski in, ski out access during the winter season allows for great access to the chairlifts and ski school. Many bike trails and access to Lost Lake are very close by, and Whistler Village is just a ten minute stroll away.

Our stay at Aspens was excellent. It has the best ski in ski out location, in addition to ski valet service. The king size bed is very comfortable while the sofa bed is in good quality too. The kitchen is well equipped. It got all the utensils I need for breakfast. I usually took shuttle bus to whistler village. The bus stop is just 5 minutes away. It is a perfect vacation home. I will come back.

warm sunny clean condo very convinient to the lifts and loved the pools that were fantastic.

The place needed few more kitchen utensils e.g. (potato musher) more plats etc. Also basis condiments are always very much appreciated but there were none at all. We stayed for 11 nights so we bought everything from the scratch including salt and paper but if one stays for short period it is very inconvenient to have to start your shopping from nothing. And at the end of your stay you are throwing thinks away in the rubbish as you cant take them home on the plane.

The fire place was playing up and after third attempt finally they changed the control panel we thought was the reason for the fire place not working.

Place was just big enough for 4 people with sleeping in the living/ kitchen area .

I would definitely consider this place for my next ski visit to Whistler .

Just as advertised!

The condo was just as advertised. Steps away from the Wizard Chair. Overall a comfortable place for 2, could fit up to 4 for the weekend if you wanted. Be sure to check the dishwasher when you get there as the cleaning staff had left the dishes clean in the washer and we had not noticed till a day later.

Stayed Jan 21-24. Great location for Blackcombe ski lifts. Short walk into Whistler village. Vancouver buses will pick you up out front. Well-equipped unit, very clean, great condition and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff - and the owners are too! We highly recommend it.

We just returned from our 3 night ski vacation in Whistler. This is definitely the best location we've had in the past 4 years of trips here. The condo was clean, roomy, and the true ski in/out was fabulous (although a little challenging this early in the season with low snow coverage) I loved being out of the noisy village, but still having dinner options a short walk away and easy access to the village without ever using our car. GREAT hot tubs with views of the slope and mountains - even the sunset! My only suggestion would be to replace the mattress in the King bed - it is definitely too soft for my back. But regardless, we will stay here again!
