This one bedroom unit is in an outstanding slopeside location, with true ski in-ski out access. By skis, you and your family can be at the Wizard Chairlift or ski school in less than a minute. A nice relaxing scenic stroll to Whistler Village for shopping and dining will take less than ten minutes.

New built-in air conditioner for those hot summer days! New Weber propane barbecue grill on balcony.

From the private balcony and living room window, you have an amazing view of the mountains. You also have a great view of the Wizard chairlifts moving up and down the slopeside. You also have a clear view of the heated outdoor pool from this room.

This unit being newly renovated, there is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is a new 46 inch flat screen television above the fireplace with access to many channels, including the high definition channels. There is also a flat screen TV and a new king size pillow top mattress in the bedroom for a good night's rest.

The family will enjoy year round access to the complex's big heated outdoor pool, three hot tubs, and a fitness room. Whistler is a year round resort area with so many things to do.

Note: Optional underground parking is available at The Aspens complex for $17 CAN per night (which has nothing to do with us). There is a limited number of free parking on the street from October through to June.

About The Owner

My family and I live in Maple Ridge, British Columbia (which is about 50 minutes from Vancouver and about 3 hours from Whistler). With three boys, we have enjoyed our family time up at Whistler. We have owned this unit for less than a year, so there are many activities we have yet to try up at Whistler. After a fun filled ski season, we are looking forward to some time biking along the trails and swimming in the pool.

Why The Owner chose Upper Village

Whistler is less than a three hour drive for my family. This allows us to take full advantage of the many recreational opportunities available, all year round. Most recently, we enjoyed the excitement of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic events and celebrations.

What makes this condo unique

While staying at The Aspens, we enjoy relaxing in one of the three complex hot tubs and swimming in the big year round heated pool. There is also a newly renovated fitness room in the complex. Having ski in, ski out access during the winter season allows for great access to the chairlifts and ski school. Many bike trails and access to Lost Lake are very close by, and Whistler Village is just a ten minute stroll away.

Our stay at Aspens was excellent. It has the best ski in ski out location, in addition to ski valet service. The king size bed is very comfortable while the sofa bed is in good quality too. The kitchen is well equipped. It got all the utensils I need for breakfast. I usually took shuttle bus to whistler village. The bus stop is just 5 minutes away. It is a perfect vacation home. I will come back.

Great condo, great location!

We just returned from our 3 night ski vacation in Whistler. This is definitely the best location we've had in the past 4 years of trips here. The condo was clean, roomy, and the true ski in/out was fabulous (although a little challenging this early in the season with low snow coverage) I loved being out of the noisy village, but still having dinner options a short walk away and easy access to the village without ever using our car. GREAT hot tubs with views of the slope and mountains - even the sunset! My only suggestion would be to replace the mattress in the King bed - it is definitely too soft for my back. But regardless, we will stay here again!

Great accommodation close to Blackcomb

I stayed three nights. Nice and quiet. 10 minutes walk down to Whistler Village. Friendly front desk staff. Pools were closed but I knew that before I arrived and not a problem for me. Well equipped kitchen. Clean and everything was ready to go when I arrived. I would stay here again.

Great family location

Condo is clean and in a great locatio Bed is comfortable but a bit soft for our personal preference. Hide a bed was also pretty good. BBQ does not heat properly. Couldn't get temperature past 300ish (probably needs a new regulator). Worked for chicken although it took a long time but ate out the next night rather than cook our steaks this way. Disappointed in that. For us that would be reason enough to choose another unit but otherwise we would totally stay here again.

We had a great time in Whistler but...

stayed in 3 different place and this was our least favorite. Absolutely nothing stocked in the kitchen...ie salt and pepper, parking was $17/nite and not disclosed as such and it is basically a hotel room type set up...not particularly cozy. The unit was certainly adequate, bed was comfy and location was excellent. Parking situation a real downer.

Perfect Whistler Getaway

Aspens is our favorite Whistler condo complex. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely, romantic getaway in this tastefully updated condo. We slept like kids in the oh-so-comfortable king-sized bed with the quiet, cool breezes off of Blackcomb Mountain (only 5 minutes over the bridge, beside the river and through the trees to the Whistler Village). Thank you Audrey and Terry for a wonderful vacation!

Enjoyed our off season visit!

Quiet "off the beaten path" Blackcomb location. Sunday farmers market in village was great fun! The king sized bed was very comfortable! The TV in the bedroom was a plus for us as we like to relax and watch before bed. Top floor location has a nice balcony and BBQ.

Easy walking distance from Blackcomb village, just down the slopes in 5 minutes - a bit longer to get to Whistler village but duable for most on easy and well marked trails. Flashlight advisable after dark on slope. Owner was very flexible and understanding of a schedule change we had. We would stay here again!
