Early check in and out charge option stinks. Check in was 4 and we arrived at 435. Room was not ready. Cleaners said 10 more minutes and we are sure floors were not done. Still sandy. The patio door was hard to open until later in week. Then slid open so easy after fix we were worried it would not stay shut. No lock on door and installed backwards. Was not a good way to start off trip after long hot day of waiting around. No ice maker and rather sparce kitchen items. Good thing weather was beautiful.

The Edgewater Resort overall is immaculate. We choose to stay at the Edgewater 9/10 times we come to PCB. However I will have to say this years room was not awful, but not the best. The main issue was the sliding glass door to the balcony. You had to be over 20 or under 60 to get it open. My elderly grandmother could not open it because the track was damaged. The property owner sent a maintenance worker (unannounced) the second day but was unable to fix it, we never heard from anyone the rest of the week. The AC unit could not keep the unit below 73/74 it struggled in the afternoons to get under 75. And the garbage disposal in the kitchen was inoperable. There were other minor issues we had but it might seem to petty to list them, so I just named the big things we had issues with. We will definitely be coming back to the Edgewater next year but this room seems to be on our “meh” list.

Home at the Beach

Edgewater complex has everything you could want at a beach stay. Walk out back door and there is the beach. Pools everywhere. The location is close to shopping eating and all the fun things to do with the family. Shipwreck Island bowling arcade etc. cannot wait to get back

Beautiful!

Beautiful location, view, beach, and condo. We are four friends (two couples) in our 70’s, and this condo was wonderful. The parking is close to the building and moving in is a piece of cake. Plenty of space, and everything is provided!

Not bad but not the best

First I want to say that the communication with this host was wonderful. We received quick responses. However, there were a few issues during our stay I want to note. The location of this condo was fabulous. Close to everything and literally steps from the beach. I will start with the bathroom sinks that you had to lift the drain cover to drain. We tried lifting and twisting them, but could never get them to drain. This was kind of gross when you had to put your hand in water you just brushed your teeth in. The bed in the master bath feels like it may need a new box spring also. It was comfortable and clean, but when we laid in it we rolled towards the middle. There is a very strong smell when you open the dishwasher also. Like a strong sewage/mildew smell. Last thing is the AC malfunctioned. We texted the host about this and we were instructed to reset the breaker, which worked temporarily, but we had to reset it twice a day which was a little annoying. Thankfully we came during spring break and it wasn’t that hot. This condo during spring break was nice because it was away from the spring break hot spots and we had zero issues with noise from party goers. The view was nice it favorite part, it was absolutely gorgeous. Overall the unit was ok because we barely stayed in it, and spent most of our time at the beach. I could see the AC being an issue in the summer if not fixed. Thank you!

Great vacation great condi

This condo was the cleanest condo we have stayed in since coming to PCB for the last 9 years. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities needed to have a pleasant stay. Roomy and bright with ceiling to floor windows. Nice comfortable furniture. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of everything. Hooks on doors gave extra storage and even had a shoe rack. Very roomy and on 4 th floor.. No waiting for elevator and property in gated with security. Only negatives were the washer and dryer should be replaced. Washer makes quite a bit of noise and the dryer takes forever to dry. And only 3 chairs on balcony with one of them falling apart.. Also no bedrooms with beach view. Good communication with rental company. I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent Resort

Loved our stay. Leeward Bldg #406 was superb. Resort is extremely clean and we felt safe the entire time. Unit is perfect for a small family or two couples. Very comfortable LR furniture and large DR table. Nice kitchen and appliances. Master BR mattress is very soft and sags in the middle. Owner might want to keep a check on it. Otherwise no complaints and would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Amazing sunsets! Loved the straight, flat walk out to the beach.

2 Weeks at the Beach

My husband and I love the edgewater. We brought our kids and they had a blast the room had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was so easy.

My PCB stay

My kids and I vey much enjoyed our stay! The condo was excellent, the views were perfect and location of stores from the condo was perfect. We really enjoyed the main pool and the amenities that came along with our stay! We will definitely be booking another stay for the future!

Summer Vacation

My older teenage kids, wife and I had a great visit during our stay, everyone found something they liked. Interior, location and amenities were as advertised, beach and water were amazing even with rip current warnings throughout our stay. Sandbar was large enough to enjoy the surf safely. Took advantage of the on property 9 hole golf course, pickle ball courts and fitness center, albeit at additional cost. Oceans restaurant was convenient with good food, and the small convenience store was handy...had a good iced coffee. Did not use the pools, beach time only. Overall had a great stay.
