About this property
Medical Transition Housing 25 | Private Veranda
Private Veranda | Suite 25 | Medical Transition Housing Near St. Anthony | St. Joseph | Lakewood Medical Center | Lutheran and more.
Who This Is For This quiet, low-stimulus residential home base is intentionally designed for the day-to-day lifestyle continuity of: ✔ Patients traveling for active treatment ✔ Caregivers supporting a loved one’s recovery path ✔ Healthcare professionals, medical trainees, and clinical staff on extended assignments ✔ Families navigating time-bound medical transitions, recovery, or clinical placements
Core Value Drivers: Stability, Emotional Relief & A Place to Unwind Stability During a Difficult Season Medical transitions rarely follow predictable timelines. Rather than functioning as a vacation rental, this suite is intentionally reserved for extended stays, creating a quieter residential rhythm that better supports changing treatment schedules, recovery, and everyday life.
A Natural Break from Clinical Corridors Extended medical stays can make life feel confined to appointments and temporary housing. The suite provides a peaceful residential setting that supports decompression, fresh air, and reconnection with everyday life.
A Private Place to Unwind The emotional weight of caregiving and recovery requires space to process the day before stepping back into the responsibilities waiting at home. The defining benefit of this suite is the opportunity for quiet reflection, emotional breathing room, and a natural transition between clinical demands and personal recovery.
A Humanized Alternative to Temporary Housing Rooted in authentic Kenyan hospitality, the suite is designed to feel warm, welcoming, and lived-in, helping guests feel at home during an extended stay. ________________________________________ How Suite 25 Supports Everyday Living Comfort on Your Terms Recovery, caregiving, and demanding schedules are easier when your surroundings reduce unnecessary friction. This suite supports a calm, low-stimulus environment that promotes rest, focus, and everyday comfort throughout longer stays.
Preserving Everyday Independence Extended stays should not require sacrificing normal routines. The residence supports day-to-day lifestyle continuity while preserving privacy, independence, and the ability to manage everyday responsibilities without unnecessary complications.
Staying Connected to What Matters Whether managing telehealth appointments, coordinating care, working remotely, or providing critical family updates, reliable connectivity is an essential part of everyday stability. This suite functions as a dependable communication hub, supporting daily administrative productivity when you need to be on. When the day is finally over, a wall-mounted 65-inch Sony Smart TV provides a comfortable way to unwind, reconnect with loved ones, enjoy a family movie night, or simply disconnect before tomorrow's appointments.
Rest That Adapts to You Recovery is personal. Sleeping arrangements can be adapted to support individual comfort preferences, recovery needs, and linen-protection requirements.
A Private Place to Recharge Extended transitions can leave little room to process the emotional weight of the day. The suite provides a private residential environment that supports fresh air, quiet reflection, and emotional decompression between clinical demands.
Everyday Function with Clear Expectations Extended transitions work best when daily environments align with individual needs and routines. This suite features a traditional tub/shower combination. Guests are encouraged to review the layout carefully before booking to ensure it aligns with their mobility needs, preferences, and recovery requirements. ________________________________________ LOCATION / PRACTICAL ACCESS Practical Medical & Professional Access Suite 25 is positioned to reduce travel burden and simplify recurring commutes throughout the Denver Metro area. Located on a quiet Lakewood cul-de-sac with no through traffic, the residence is approximately: • 15 minutes (<5.8 miles) to St. Anthony Hospital • 20 minutes (<5.5 miles) to Lutheran Medical Center • 20 minutes (<5.5 miles) to Downtown Denver medical corridors • 30 minutes (<10 miles) to Colorado Blood Cancer Institute The location also provides convenient access to employment centers, pharmacies, grocery stores, essential services, and everyday necessities.
Local Knowledge & Neighborhood Guidance Guests receive practical recommendations for nearby medical facilities, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, parks, lakes, and essential services to help them settle in quickly and navigate the area with confidence.
Privacy, Independence & Reduced Friction The living experience is intentionally structured around privacy, professional boundaries, and guest independence. Self-check-in, written guidance, automated systems, and direct owner oversight help reduce unnecessary interruptions while maintaining a clear path for property-related support.
Operational Flexibility & Transition Support Medical timelines do not always follow a schedule. When availability permits, guests may request early check-in, late checkout, stay extensions, or transfers within KFR's four-suite portfolio. Standard incidental safeguards are processed as a temporary authorization hold rather than an upfront cash deposit, helping keep transition logistics predictable. ________________________________________ 📋 Booking Requirements To maintain verified housing standards and a stable residential environment, the following requirements apply to all reservations: • Identity Verification: All adult occupants must provide a government-issued ID, complete intake verification, and sign a formal Residency Agreement within 24 hours of booking to officially secure the stay. • Housing Only (Non-Clinical): KFR provides private restorative housing, not caregiving, medical, or clinical services. Guests are responsible for arranging their own independent caregiver support whenever recommended by their medical team. • Emergency Contacts: Guests may be asked to provide at least two emergency contacts during the intake process for use strictly in health, safety, or occupancy-related emergencies. • Security Hold & Screening: A temporary electronic incidental authorization hold is required at check-in ($500 standard / $750 with approved pet exceptions). No upfront cash deposit is collected. AMEX is not accepted for this hold. Additional screening or traveler’s insurance requirements may apply based on booking channel or profile history. • Pet-Friendly Suites Only: Pre-approved dogs and cats (maximum of two) are permitted only within designated pet-friendly suites (17B and 35B) under a signed pet agreement and applicable community rules. • Booking Integrity: Reservations must be completed directly through this listing or an approved KFR booking channel. We are not affiliated with Houzlet or other unauthorized third-party listing services.

Thank you so much Ben for selecting our listing as your home away from home during your short trip to Colorado's Denver Metro area. It was wonderful hosting you and what we also loved was that you and those in your group have visited Africa so were able to appreciate our African art/decor. Thanks for being a great guest. You truly make hosting fun and are always welcome back.

We really liked staying here, the host really makes you feel like you are at home, the house has everything you need to have a very good stay and the neighborhood is very quiet and very close to the city, the Walmart is a few steps away. Definitely next time we go to Denver we would love to stay here again.

Thank you, Jose, for picking my listing as your home away from home during your trip to Denver. I appreciate your kind words and I enjoyed hosting you and your wonderful family.
I am glad that you felt taken care of during your time here.
My business, Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC, is much more than just hosting. It is a means to help my family back in Kenya while also sharing a piece of myself, with guests, my Kenyan culture in its simplest form. I feel touched and encouraged when I get feedback to show that guests are happy with what I provide.
Thank you for leaving my home in such great shape after your stay. You are a host’s dream guest and I hope that I have the pleasure of hosting you and your family again. Asante (Swahili for Thank you).

Response from VrboOwner on Nov 21, 2024
Thank you Zettalee for selecting my listing as the ideal home for your staff. It was a pleasure hosting him and I am glad that he was able to share his experience staying in the suite. He seemed to enjoy the beautiful and yes peaceful backyard. I was joking with him saying the birds and squirrels are going to miss him, as he would spend a lot of time in the yard, reading a book or listening to music if not playing it. It is always great when guests enjoy something that a host has put together that is not just clean, comfortable and centrally located, but a space that offers something memorable. The beautiful and unique Kenyan Artwork is dear to me as Kenya is my country of birth. I wanted to share something dear to me and what was cool during this stay is that my guest, your staff member staying in the suite, got to witness the taking down of a large spruce tree and in it's place from the 10ft of tree left, a tree carving of Africa's big 5, lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and African buffalo. You and/or your staff are always welcome to book a stay in any of my suites, should the need arise. Thank you for your review. The kind words mean a lot to me. :)
Short holiday stay visiting family. Very clean and fully furnished unit described and pictured accurately. My only suggestion is a grab bar or two in the shower. Host was very accessable and although we didn't want for a thing, we felt that any concerns/issues would be dealt with promptly.

Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the cleanliness and furnishings. Your suggestion for a grab bar in the shower is noted. We mention the lack of grab bars in our listings and leases to inform guests before booking, and we will consider installing one for future improvements. We're glad you found us accessible and felt confident that any concerns would be promptly addressed. While our house manuals and leases are designed for self-sufficiency, we strive to remain available to our guests. We're glad to know that we succeeded in communicating that. We hope to welcome you back for another wonderful stay in the future!
Anna, the owner literally took her Sunday afternoon and went and purchased a brand new barbecue grill as the barbecue grill that was at the property was not working. She totally made our birthday dinner a success. It is definitely service like this that will keep me coming back. Thank you very much.

Thank you Michelle for your kind words. Giving guests the greatest experience while they stay in any one of my listings is usually my goal. I was glad to be a small part of making your birthday dinner a success. I enjoyed meeting you all, including precious Sophia. I hope you all will consider my listing again, the next time that you are in town. With plenty of amenities to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable stay, you can't go wrong. I also work to stay affordable as highlighted in my listing description because that ensures that my guests truly see value in their stay and are likely to return or refer me to other guests looking for a great place to call home during their brief stay in Denver. I appreciate your review. Thank you!
