• Guests have 24 hours from 3 pm check-in to inform us if there is any issue with the cleanliness of the condo for us to remedy the issues at no charge.
• Any mechanical and or other issues with the functionality of the condo will be handled in the most expeditious manner available however given that this is Hawaii, timelines for replacement or repair are not as fast as on the mainland, so thank you in advance for your patience during any issues that may arise.
• Any violation of the house rules for no smoking, no vaping, no open flames, no incense, and no marijuana inside the condo or on the lanai(s) will result in an additional $600 cleaning fee to be charged after departure.

Lovely stay in Kapalua

This Vrbo has everything you'd want in a rental. The bed was so comfortable, clean bathrooms, great showers and a gorgeous ocean and golf view. We had a great time here. Just a 2 minute walk to one of the pools which was about half full each day and quiet. Easy access to the market and driving range as well. Thank you to the hosts, you really made our trip so easy and wonderful!

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Wave ay Kapalua. The communication with the hosts was great and quick response. The place is absolutely beautiful! There's nothing like waking up to that beautiful scenery every day. The extra amenities, such as the beach bag, towels, adn chairs, were greatly appreciated. It was so nice being just a few minutes walk from the beach. We also met the neighbors downstairs who gave great recommendations for the local trails. Overall, our stay here was so worth it. I hope to be able to visit again!

Great Place To Stay

Condo is as advertised. Exceedingly clean and very well appointed. Appreciated all the little touches; the basket of goodies, the bottle of sparkling wine for Valentine's day and more. Even with the mishap with the front door entry (dead batteries). Michael was the best, had us taken care of within 20 minutes. You could not ask more of your host. Thanks for a great stay! Would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

BEST CONDO WE'VE EVER STAYED AT....

We've rented about a dozen condos in Kapalua during our Maui vacations, and this condo has been the BEST. 16T2 was recently remodeled from top to bottom, by owners/property mgrs, using only quality materials, furnishings, appliances, artwork, linens, etc. Location is quiet and totally private (no peering onto lanai from adjacent units). Just a free shuttle ride or walk to some of the world's best beaches. Since owners are local, if you have any problems, concerns, or just need advice, they are available to help. This colorful & unique condo made our Hawaiian vacation absolutely a dream come true. Special thanks to owners, Michael & Lisa: very creative, thoughtful, generous & silly kama'ainans! Aloha forever :):)

By far the nicest place at Kapalua for us. Positives outweighed negatives 10:1. Needs a "sweep" under the front door where you could see daylight under...leading to an entry point for those large 2-3" roaches which we killed on the second day, and ran into at the front landing numerous times (normal for Hawaii). No steak knives, Lanai storage doors slammed in wind due to broken lock, extremely complex TV setup for a novice (not me), annoying downstairs motion sensor for hall lights especially if you have someone sleeping downstairs (not us). No check-in communication from Host until I had to get VRBO involved at 10pm PST the night before our flight when I should have been sleeping prepping for our 5:30 am wake time. Top-notch furnishings and beautiful ambiance, comfortable king bed, great Washer/Dryer, plush carpet, excellent A/C. Would definitely stay in this unit again if we can afford it.

Welcome to my Kapalua home! We (Lisa and Michael) moved from the bay area of California to Maui in 2019 and live here full-time. I am a licensed attorney in California but enjoy our more peaceful life in beautiful Maui. Michael enjoys remodeling our condos, and we both enjoy creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere with modern refinements and whimsical touches that make your stay with us as enjoyable as expected. We live only 12 minutes from the condo and can assist if our guests need anything.

Both of us raised our children in California and they are now living and working scattered across the country. We have grandchildren that we adore, but see too little of since the pandemic.

These days we enjoy the ocean sports here in Maui, snorkeling, scuba diving, ocean kayaking, supping, and boogie boarding. Our dog Emma joins us on our adventures and has become quite the photo op at the crowded beaches as she rides her own boogie board! We love the many hiking trails, the bamboo forest, the summit of Haleakala at sunset, and the amazing beaches and dive spots that seem to be around every curve!

Our living room “Grotto” is finished off with a lavish real bamboo beam, hanging orchids, and stag horn ferns!

The kitchen features all new Blackened Stainless Steel appliances, ice and water through the door, a full-size range and microwave, and an ultra-quiet dishwasher. Hawaiian-made Koa wood cabinets add warmth. And the custom Lemurian Blue Quartzite countertop is stunning! The dining room table fits 6 adults with ease.

The living room sectional sleeper has an upgraded all-foam mattress for a comfortable night's sleep. Enjoy the home theatre effect with an 82” Samsung NEO 4K TV and 7:1 surround, & comfortable seating for everyone whether you are relaxing indoors or out. New double sliding glass doors upstairs and downstairs give that outside-inside island lifestyle.

New stainless stair rails add to our nautical feel! Upstairs, there is plenty of room to accommodate up to 4 adults sleeping. The Master bed is a luxury Cal-King Adjustable Stearns & Foster, while the sleeper sofa in the sitting area also features an all-foam upgraded mattress. Enjoy the breathtaking ocean and golf course views through the new windows.

Enjoy the new LG 60” 4K TV from any seat in the bedroom, along with surround sound, or the work desk if you must! With an oversized bath vanity and a lighted makeup mirror, there's plenty of room for the ladies to get ready. And enjoy our bamboo tile oversize shower! An in-unit washer/dryer is convenient.

Our new AC system features the i-Wave air purification system and can effectively reduce Covid and other airborne viruses, bacteria, and allergens by upwards of 90+% in just 60 minutes.
