Welcome to The Nestled Nook at Kohls Ranch!

Our cabin is walking distance to Tonto Creek and surrounded by gorgeous pines and the sound of nature. Take a trip down the creek to the beautiful Tonto Waterfalls and swimming holes, or fish for trout along the beautiful creek shores!

We sit just down the road from the Tonto Fish Hatchery and the Horton Creek trailhead. We also sit directly next to ASU's Camp Tontozona and just down the road from the historic Kohls Ranch Lodge. Nestled behind the lodge is your opportunity for horseback riding. We may be close to so much, but The Nestled Nook is situated deep in the quiet, neighborly community of Kohls Ranch. A community that you may never know existed even if you drove right past it.

At the cabin, enjoy the huge oversized deck complete with a fire table for roasting marshmellows or chatting around the fire, two dining tables and two oversized umbrellas. Under the deck relax and enjoy nature in the porch swing while the kids play in the yard or swing on their own personal kids swing. Or explore the unique yard which is covered in geodes from all over the US!

Outside you will enjoy many species of birds which grace our bird feeders, as well as hummingbirds which frequent the property. You also may be lucky enough to see deer, elk, a family of raccoons, mountain lion and more! We also have friendly squirrels who love to be fed peanuts off the back deck. Take your relaxation to the next level by utilizing our provided parachute hammocks to read or rest under the trees.

Inside find a well appointed interior with sprawling high ceilings and floor to ceiling cedar. Our family room is cozy! Notice our unique true wood burning fireplace made from stones from almost all 50 states! The family room features comfortable leather reclining sofas and a 48" smart tv.

Our cabin is equipped with Satellite Internet. We may be VERY remote, but we know that internet is a must these days. Our internet speeds may not be what you are used to in the big city, so we recommend using your time at our cabin getting out and exploring! Enjoy the outdoors!

That said, every room in our cabin features a smart TV and both the loft and family room TVs feature a DVD player. We also have over 200 DVD's to choose from when you're ready to wind down for the night or need some rest from exploring.

Kitchen features absolutely everything you could need to cook a full home cooked meal as well as a huge oversized refrigerator. Don't want to cook? No problem! We have several restaurants within 5 miles of the cabin!

Both bedrooms feature plush Queen Beds with luxurious bedding! All rooms include 4 usb plugs inside the lamps. The loft has either a plush Queen Bed, or Two Cozy Memory Foam Twins beds. Whatever better suites your family's needs! ** Please note, this home sleeps a max of 6 due to our septic capacity.

Upstairs loft features its own TV and dvd player, mini pool/foosball/air-hockey table well as several bins with children's toys to keep them busy when its downtime.

Entry table comes packed with all the games and cards you could hope for to keep yourselves busy inside during those beautiful afternoon storms. Better yet, enjoy sitting on the back deck under the umbrellas during a storm!

We do allow puppers! A maximum of 2, under 20lbs. Breed restrictions apply. If you have a LARGER dog, please inquire at booking; we MAY be able to accommodate you with a larger pet fee. Dogs not claimed at booking will be assessed the fee after booking. Dogs that are brought to unit, unclaimed, will be assessed a $200 charge. Please help keep our cabin pupper friendly by honestly claiming your dog, as well as cleaning up after your dog; both inside and out. And no dogs on/in beds.

**Please note, in the winter 4x4 and AWD vehicles are strongly recommended. The final 100 yards before the home has a steep, partially paved hill. If conditions are snowy or icy, standard vehicles will not be able to make it up the hill.

PETS are allowed! TWO max, under 20lbs. PLEASE INQUIRE FOR LARGER DOG(S)! We MAY be able to accomodate you with an added fee, STARTING AT $100. Please be sure to ADD YOUR PET at booking, so the fee is captured. (See pet policy within the photos section)

Smokers, please be aware that there is no smoking allowed in the unit, nor outside the unit. Federal Forestry regulations state no smoking in the forest at ANY time. During implemented stages of fire concern, rules state smoking may only be done inside your car. If you can't go that long without smoking (ANYTHING), we understand, but would ask you please not book this particular cabin, as it sits within the forest.

Speeds in the neighborhood are restricted to 5 MPH. Park ONLY in driveway. It can accommodate about 3 cars. 4 Wheel drive is recommended in the winter. NO ATVs/Trailers, as we do not have the room to accommodate those. The neighborhood is residential; off roading is strictly prohibited. Please respect the neighborhood rules.
