Welcome to Destin! Our newly renovated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo is in the heart of Destin and is sure to make your vacation one to remember. Your family will love the expansive pools, cafe and sports bar, free parking for two vehicles, washer and dryer, balcony views, and a short walk (or free shuttle ride) to the beautiful beach on the Gulf of Mexico. With a queen size bed in the master, full size bunks, and a pull out sofa we have room for the whole family!
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Destin Beach Vacation

I really enjoyed our stay. The kids had so much fun playing in the pool. I also really enjoyed that there were restraints within walking distance and a Walmart just a couple minutes away to get groceries.

Overall it was a nice stay. The resort area is a bit dated and could use some updates. The 2nd bedroom looked much larger on line and it was more like a laundry room with bunk beds. If we had known that was the size we would’ve gotten something larger for our teens. It should be noted to bring beach towels for your stay. The resort doesn’t provide them. Condo was very clean.

Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of attractions close to the property, and access to the beach was just right across the street. Even though the beach access for the public was super limited, the ocean was gorgeous. The property was easy to navigate, and staff was helpful...the only complaints i have is that there was always a musty smell in the hallway on the floor we stayed on, and the pool. We specifically booked for the gorgeous and spacious pool only to be disappointed because the pool was freezing cold the entire trip. Not sure why the pool was so cold. It was disappointing for us to say the least...but overall the property was great.

The reason it isn’t 5 stars is due to the worst door situation have ever experienced in the second bedroom. The bathroom door is set up like saloon doors. They are quiet and they are too skinny to squeeze in just one door. This caused others sleeping in the room to be awakened anytime anyone went to the bathroom.

Beautiful and comfortable

This condo was perfect! It was decorated beautifully and all of the furniture was comfortable. It was clean and had a very welcoming feel. I would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to return again in the future!

Great place across the street from the beach.

The property was gorgeous!! The plants and greenery made it feel like I was in the tropics! The pool was awesome for the kids! It was so convenient having the full kitchen with everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast. We only ate out a handful of times which saved money and time! Instead of waiting on food at a restaurant we were able to spend extra time at the beach or at the gorgeous pool! Keurig coffee maker!! There was also a super cute coffee shop with delicious coffee on site! And a cool little bar and grill by the pool with cornhole and TVS so we didn't miss the game! There was also an outdoor grill area with tennis courts and basketball! Beach chairs and wagon were in the closet so that was one less thing I had to pack. The balcony overlooked the city lights at night and we were even able to see the fireworks at Harborwalk Village! If I had any complaints it would be that the beach area across the street isn't very big because the motels on each side rope off thier areas.. I have never seen that at any other place I've stayed and the redlight at the cross walk takes what feels like forever.

Destin is where it all started (almost 8 years ago!) for my husband and I. He was stationed with 7th Special Forces Group in the Army and not only did we fall in love with each other, but with this place. We always said we would own a home here someday, and we are so happy that someday is finally here! Now we live full time in New Hampshire, where we have two children, I am a teacher and my husband is a state trooper. We are excited to take full advantage of our new vacation home in our favorite place, and hopefully help other families create long lasting memories in Destin too.

Why they chose this property

When we purchased this property we had families in mind. We know how difficult it can be traveling with children, and we are here to help! The Palms has everything you need right at your finger tips, so if you don't want to leave the condominium, you don't have to! With an 11,000 sq ft oasis pool, toddler splash area, sports bar with outdoor seating that includes fire pits and games, café/bistro with coffee, breakfast, and lunch options and a shuttle to take you to and from the beach during peak season, this is really the place to be. The Palms is centrally located in the heart of Destin near The Track for mini golf and go karts, Big Kahuna for family water fun, McGuires Irish Pub for amazing food and drinks (family friendly if you choose), and so much more!

Our condo has all of the benefits necessary for a family friendly vacation, or simply a getaway of your choice. Destin is one of those wonderful places where you have plenty of kid friendly options, with plenty of adult fun to have too.
