Weekend Getaway Bliss

My daughter and I recently stayed the weekend and it absolutely did not disappoint !! The beautiful views and large porch were just perfect for sipping coffee in the morning before heading to the lake. Highly recommend if your looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway !!

Great quiet location

My family very much enjoyed our stay in the cabin. There were a couple hiccups with the lights in the bathroom and spiders, but it is a cabin and the owner was very helpful.

This is the perfect cabin if you're looking for quiet and peaceful times. It's cozy and comfortable. Porch is wonderful for your morning coffee/tea and just watching all the critters running around and birds flying around. Don't miss out on this little piece of paradise.

Quiet Cabin in the Pines

We greatly enjoyed this simple little cabin in the pines. We found it to be clean, with everything we might need available on the property. The covered porch with grill and the hammock were the stars of the show here! The neighborhood was very quiet and the view was amazing. Definitely the most relaxing weekend we've had in a long time. We're planning to make this a yearly getaway!

Cute cabin, nestled in pines, peaceful

We had everything needed, host was great with communication. Bed was comfy, kitchen was stocked. BBQ grill worked great, and porch was a great place to “hang”. Bathroom was well stocked with necessities.We enjoyed quiet outdoor time , listening to wind rustle through pines.Great getaway place!

Quaint Little Get Away

This was a great and much needed get away for me and my husband. It was great to smell the clean non-stuffy air of the mountains. The only thing that my husband wishes was there was a grill. Otherwise this was what we needed.

Nice getaway

Nice small cabin, fairly private, surrounded by pine trees. There were no curtains on the windows (blinds on some windows), which meant that the cabin was light by about 5 AM. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

A rustic cabin in the pines with lots of birds. I probably saw 12 different species of which at least 5 were new for the year. Some of the neighbors are full time residents while others are weekenders so not a lot of noise. The mile plus of gravel road was very passable in a car but dusty.

We are 5th Generation that has enjoyed Farnsworth Ranch! We have our main Cabin on the next street over. My wife and I are Arizona Natives and have raised our 5 kids in the Gilbert area. We love this private little area of White Mountians.

10 minutes from Show Low and 15 minutes from Heber Overgaard, this is the perfect location to get out of the big city and enjoy nature. 10 minutes from Fools Hallow Lake and a 2 minute ride to national forest!!
