Pet friendly comment from Miles of "Pet Friendly Santa Fe"
"Hummingbird has lots of outdoor space to enjoy with your family, but you will need to be leashed as it is not enclosed; however, there is a fully enclosed dog run just for you! They can always walk with you down to Canyon Road for a bit of exercise and culture. Now where else can a pup have both!"
Additional fees on this property are 9.456% tax and a one time cleaning fee of $150.

About Wendy Kapp
A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old. While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.
Wendy Kapp purchased this House in 2009

This place has it all!
We stayed at Hummingbird with another couple and the home was perfect. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood yet close to downtown. The layout of the bedrooms gave both couples privacy. The home is thoughtfully decorated in understated southwestern style with lovely artwork. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cozy meals at either the comfortable dining table or outside on the spacious deck. The deck is the best feature of the home, with outstanding views, seating areas, and gas grill. The customer service provided by Two Casitas was exemplary with informative emails and texts every step of the way. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Santa Fe.
Perfect house in perfect location
We've been coming to Santa Fe for several years now, and this is the best house we've rented. Usually, one has to sacrifice views for proximity to downtown Santa Fe, but this place strikes the perfect balance. Close to the Plaza and galleries on Canyon Road (by car - on foot would be another matter) and with beautiful mountain views from the spacious deck. The house is laid out perfectly for 2-4 people to relax quite comfortably both inside and out. Master bedroom king size bed was very comfortable. A definite plus as beds are usually the weak points in rentals. The kitchen and master bath seem to have been updated recently, and they are both very functional. Both are well-appointed with high-end fixtures and appliances. We experienced no problems during our week long stay. Local management offered fast and easy check-in and check-out. As far as we're concerned, this will be our first choice anytime we come back to Santa Fe.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're so glad that you found Hummingbird! It has been with our company for a long time, and it has always treated our guests well. We hope Two Casitas will host your next trip to Santa Fe.

Thank you so much for the great review, and for your continued business! You've been a wonderful guest, and you have excellent taste in homes! Artesano and Hummingbird are among the best we have to offer, and we're thrilled that you appreciate them. We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon!
Hummingbird- A very nice, comfortable Casita
We stayed there with old friends from the east coast. We all enjoyed our stay at the Casita. The views of the city and mountains were exceptional. We used the well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill a couple of times. We also really enjoyed Terra Cotta Wine Bistro, and Raaga.
Thank you for the review! Hummingbird's best feature is the patio that provides the incredible views you mentioned. We are glad that you took advantage of everything the home and Santa Fe has to offer! We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon.
A lot of house to enjoy.
This house has a lot of living space for a two bedroom house. It is listed as a three bedroom but it is really a two bedroom with a pull out trundle bed in a study. The study is on the first floor across from the kitchen and the other bedrooms and bathrooms are on the bottom floor. It worked fine for our short stay but this should not be listed and priced as a three bedroom. It has a wonderful large porch to enjoy the santa fe mountains but it is a steep uphill walk from Canyon Road. The house is beautifully decorated with a great kitchen.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the porch at Hummingbird as well as the decor and kitchen. We also greatly appreciate your feedback regarding the listing, but would like more information as Hummingbird is listed on Homeaway, VRBO, and twocasitas.com as a 2 bedroom house. Two Casitas strives to provided the most accurate descriptions/photos available and are happy to correct any discrepancies. We also make ourselves readily available during the reservation process to address any questions prior to booking/arrival.
Thank you again for sharing your experience and for staying with Two Casitas
Santa Fe Charm
This house is beautiful and has all the accommodations you will need to make your stay delightful. It is close to the Canyon Street Art District which I find much nicer than downtown Santa Fe as it is more charming and less touristy. The deck and views are fantastic from here, and you feel very secluded although you are right next door to other people. Great location and casita!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the Hummingbird. This house has a great deck and location near Canyon Road; we are glad you were able to explore and found the area charming. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you back in Santa Fe soon!
