Beautiful architecture, queen bed bunks, gorgeous walk in shower in the master suite, two full couches for extra sleepers. A first class granite outdoor kitchen, large 30' deck, fire pit near the lake, with a dock, and pontoon available for rent.

Adult family vacation with 2 little grands.

We loved this beautiful home! We stay in a vrbo each year for vacation with our adult children and their families. We had 4 rooms that served our 4 family units very well. We loved the covered outdoor space and incredible outdoor kitchen/grill. We played games here, which allowed for kids to sleep while we were louder. The lake was quiet, we heard loons and enjoyed our pontoon time. The town size was also nice with so many food options available. We all commented on how clean the house was with beautiful high ceilings and huge windows. We usually find a new place each year but we may have to repeat a stay here!!

We have owned this property for six years after spending nearly 15 years living abroad and being out of Minnesota. Having had the privilege to explore the world and see many beautiful things, there is nothing better than being at the cabin on the lake in Alexandria, Minnesota. We love being here so much we have opened it up to our family and friends over the years creating a lifetime of unique memories. We hope you have the opportunity to create similar moments!

Why they chose this property

What drew us to this place was the location and the uniqueness of the cabin itself. The lakes area of Alexandria has much to offer and has all the conveniences of a larger town in a quaint smaller town setting. Our cabin is a structural amazement, with updated features like the outdoor kitchen, which has great views of the lake, an amazing grill and covered outdoor island which is fantastic for games with friends and family. The lake provides great entertainment for tubers, skiers, swimmers and fishing!

What makes this property unique

The cabin itself is a one of a kind. The unique timber style home has significant character. We’ve since added the large deck, outdoor kitchen and screened porch to enhance the lakeside experience. The Alexandria area is a hidden gem with lots to do and see.
