Enjoy gorgeous lake views from the screened in porch or stargaze while keeping warm by the outdoor fire pit.
Only miles from your Pocono fun favorites- ski resorts, hiking, kayaking, biking, horseback riding, & more!
Recently renovated inside & out.
Sleeps 5 comfortably (up to 7 if you include sleeper sofa). House has many amenities- including boats, access to community beach, fishing poles, washer/dryer, grill & board games!

Ski Retreat

Weekend Getaway
Our stay was magnificent!! From booking to departing everything was efficient and enjoyable. The house itself was perfect!! Cozy, quiet, peaceful, comfortable are a few words to describe our stay!! We will be back for sure, to experience all the beautiful seasons on the lake!!

Great location ok a tranquil lake
If you are looking for a place to relax in a very quiet and peaceful setting this is the place! It has everything you would need and is nicely decorated with nice art and comfortable furniture. Will go again.

Great Vacation
We had a great weeklong vacation at chipmunk cottage. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the cottage was bigger than the pictures show. The lake provided us with lots of fun. Since motorized boats are not allowed we felt very safe swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The lake was also great for fishing and getting across to access the beach and tennis courts. All the neighbors we met were very friendly and helpful. They pointed us to the secret trail out the back of the development to get to the rail trail. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back.

Very nice house and property
had a very nice stay. caught a lot of fish and enjoyed the local state parks. house was very clean. kayaks were fun. would like to stay here again in the future.

What a view!
Comfortable bed and furniture, inside and outside. Incredible view of the lake from enclosed back porch, patio, & lawn! Well-appointed kitchen to make breakfasts, lunches & dinners. Saw Buttermilk Falls, too. Thank you for sharing such an awesome get away!

From the views to the magnificence of nature, it was just incredible. It was an incredible relaxing, beautiful experience and I would recommend it to anyone. The property is immaculate. The owner is stellar. It was just the most relaxing and just what the doctor ordered. It was everything it was described as and so much more! The surrounding neighborhood the neighbors. The people I ran into the stores, the Whitehaven market. It was really a beautiful stay. Completely all around except for just a few glitches at the end. But all in all it was absolutely five plus plus stars. Beautiful! Highly recommend

Short and sweet get-a-way!
This property is even better in person than in the pictures! The kitchen has everything you need to make some simple meals including salt, pepper, and oil. We loved exploring the lake and having a fire in the fire pit. The collection of games was a nice distraction for the kids.

Girls Getaway at the Chipmunk Cottage
Spent a day with family at the cottage. The accommodations were perfect for our group of four. The cottage was much bigger than it appears in the posted pictures, and so very cozy! The sunroom with a view of the lake was one of many highlights. And though the property isn't exactly secluded, it felt like it was; indeed, the location was very quiet and free of any raucousness (albeit in mid-December). We definitely hope to stay at the Chipmunk Cottage again!!

Really nice little getaway
We had a great time and felt right at home. This cabin exceeded our expectations. It is a very clean and nice cabin in a peaceful little community. All of the amenities needed including bicycles and boats. We would definitely return to this cabin.

Relaxing stay
Chipmunk cottage is just lovely. The 4 of us enjoyed a few pleasant fall days. It was fun to view the neighborhood fall decor on our walk around Penn Lake. We traveled to a nearby hike in Bear Creek to view the waterfalls. Would certainly recommend the cottage for a getway.

Beautiful Cabin on a quiet lake
The cabin was clean and easy to find. It is close to neighbors but still has a spacious lawn and lake access. Great for families or couple get-aways. Has everything you need minus sheets and towels. Has games, water activities, tv and dining table. Listing was accurate and helpful. Checkin was smooth. The porch has awesome views. The patio is great for parties or sitting out in the day or evening.
