Reel Relaxin' - the Name of the Cabin Says it All!

It is no secret that Drummond Island is 'The Gem of the North'. This is truly God's Country. The peace and serenity will have you longing for a return visit to our outdoor paradise.

From the moment you enter our cozy cabin, you'll feel relaxed. The knotty pine, the cozy fireplace, and the log furniture give the cabin it's rustic appeal. Do not be surprised when you look up into the open ceiling and find wildlife mounted on the log beams.

We are located on Potagannising Bay, one of the best fishing areas around. If you bring your boat it can be docked right in front of the property. If you would like to rent a pontoon boat (in town) you can go exploring other Islands, hiking the shoreline, and collecting rocks. We have a large deck overlooking the Bay and a screen in porch for enjoying the views. It's all up to you - this is your vacation.

The Island is located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and is approximately an hour's drive from the Mackinac Bridge. It is accessible by car, plane or boat. The adventure starts with a Ferry ride over to the Island.

Perfect fishing and hunting base camp.

It was great. I rent a cabin on drummond for a week every october. First time in this one. Ill be booking next year’s stay here as well. Docked my duck boat in the backyard and the dogs loved sleeping in front of the hearth at night. Just like out of a Gene Hill story. Thanks again.

Relaxing vacation

Things tend to move a little slower on the Island. People stop to chat about life, strangers honk and wave from their cars. Fishing reports are replace the business news. Rush hour traffic involves leaving 15 early to get a spot on the ferry. Drummond Island is known for beautiful sunsets and the wildlife you will see if commonplace. On your next trip, emphasize the quality of time spent on 'vacation', rather than the quantity of events on a guided tour. Trade in bright lights, overpriced hotel rooms and fast food for Northern Lights, kayaks and local beauty. Let the setting and scenery of the Island take care of you...it will provide all you really need. See you soon. Once you come you are family.
