Check in was easy. Our code did not work at first, but one phone call and it was fixed. Things this property could improve on: Window coverings were either sheer or non-existent (had to put sheet over window for privacy). Only 1 extra blanket in whole condo. No tongs for cooking, and only enough plates/coffee mugs for four although listed as sleeps 8. Coffee mugs had chipped rims. Should invest in good vacuum, especially at a beach place, it was a little sandy.

The property was perfect for our family of six. Clean, pet friendly and a walk away from the fun pool. 4 min drive to the beach.

Keypad was out of battery upon arrival, when unit was opened by property manager it was not yet cleaned. Took 3 hours for it to be ready (past 9pm, with two babies).

the condo was very clean, we have stayed in this complex before at other units, the description is a bit mis leading, as it is not a full 3 baths, it is 2.5 and the mattresses were not comfortable they were very hard, the condo is short some cooking items such as a large pot, sot enough cups or glasses for 8 people if you have that many

Great time at Soul Shine

Soulshine is located in a great little community with an amazing pool. It was well stocked with only one problem, the Keurig died during our stay😒. The teenagers met some new friends at the pool. Overall great place.

The lack of cleanliness!

The decorations of the house were great. It was cozy, but when we first arrived we saw 2 dead cockroaches and then while walking around we killed another 3, the shower curtain needs immediate attention in both bathrooms, the master bathroom tub drain must be so clogged that the water takes a long time to drain. The two main beds were extremely high. I am about 5'10” and I had to jump on the bed. My wife and my parents had hard times climbing onto the bed. I did NOT receive the gate code of the swimming pool. I looked in all the emails and the online link and it was not showing anywhere. So if you expect to use the pool you might be disappointed! The condo was really nice, I wish I had the gate access to use the pool. But it would have been wonderful if there was a grass area on the property for walking the dogs.

Don’t stay here unless you are crazy the pictures mislead

We come to Port A ALOT! This was our worst condo yet. The best and only perk is the pool (bathroom was nasty but aren’t all Pool bathrooms?!). In the booking we were promised a golf cart and I had to provide insurance, ok great, we arrive no golf cart and they said sorry for the confusion??? Zero cleaning supplies even though on check out we are required to run dish washer?? 1 trash bag given and half a thing of paper towels, cheap. The fold out couch was nasty!! Hair, stains, and dirty socks that were not ours. We had to call for sheets and double layered them with towels Bc the mattress was so dirty. The linens brought to us had dark hair on every item. When we called for paper towels, dish soap, and a trash bag we had to drive to the office. The lady said it was our fault for not packing that stuff ourselves. Um no $400/ night for a condo with ZERO view and 0.5 mile walk to the beach should have basic cleaning supplies. No perks here. Almost zero kitchen items, huge disappointment for cooking. Will not come back here again and would warn you to look elsewhere for booking

Good Time in Port A - Minor Suggestions

We had a good time in Port A at the Beachside Condos. Complex was nice and pool/slide was excellent. The Soulshine unit was pretty good but needed a few minor improvements. 1. Floor was not very clean upon arrival - sandy and some hair in the bathrooms 2. Shower curtains were mildewy and smelled. 3. All the couches in this unit were not great -downstairs ones had pokey bits and upstairs was not comfortable as a couch at all - pillows did not fit the frame. Beds however were fantastic as well as the dining area. 4. The main bedroom upstairs really could use blinds or a curtain over the porch door - it faces the parking lot and the garage lights are on all night so it's not ideal when sleeping. All that being said, it was a nice unit and no huge complaints. None of that ruined the stay at all - we had a great time and it was overall nice. Great beds, TVs, plenty of room. Check in/out was easy and great access to the beach.

Good time

It is a 2 story condo. I don't remember seeing that in the listing. Bedrooms are UPSTAIRS, FYI if you ha e bad knees. Make sure you get a pool code. It is gated. You can also get a golf cart rental from Silver Sands but make that reservation in advance because they have limited supply. Cart was definitely helpful for geting to and from the beach if you were carrying supplies. Property is clean and has a small fenced rock patio yard that was perfect for doggie potty breaks.

Adorable and Convenient to everything!

The townhome was decorated very cute, the pool was very clean, and the walk to the beach was very enjoyable. The Sand in Port A is so soft! The city keeps up with all of the trash, so the walkways and the beach itself was very clean. The townhome was also very clean, the upstairs is much more spacious than the downstairs. The TV's in all of the rooms was a plus, especially if you've got kids different ages. The kids room with the bunk bed was so adorable. Nice mattress on all beds for a good night's sleep. The only negative is that it you can hear loud neighbors partying. Not enough privacy, so if you are looking for privacy, not the complex for you!

Was just OK

Maybe we were expecting too much as the nightly rate over the Holiday weekend was very high. Ironically this is probably the smallest condo we've stayed in Port A. and the beds were by far the least comfortable. No shades over bedroom windows, so bring an eye mask - and you might want to bring a blowdryer and toaster too (not provided). Hopefully property management returns your emails and communicates more effectively than with us. We had to call to get in, call to get a pool code, and were even locked out of the condo a day before departure since they never processed our (overpriced) extension to our reservation!

Pros: generally nice setting fitting of a silversands stay, kids enjoyed the added little extras like beach toys and ice cream maker. Cons: -Rock hard beds (slept on couches one night as they were more comfortable). -Really really really need better curtains or actually black our curtains would be ideal. -Didn't have a golf cart like our other silversands stays - honestly I thought they were always included until now. Cheap worthy extras to consider: - our two year old discovered he could lock the locks on the bathroom doors (yes facepalm emoji is right). Suggest leaving a small appropriate screw driver or the 10 cent internal door lock set "key" accessible. - Create the condo "manual", the notebook that generally has mostly useless info but is handy for how-to info on the TV's and the like. Speaking honestly, we will not return. After spinal fusion surgery years ago, bed and sleep quality is very important for enjoying life - particularly on a vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice and clean BUT, very disappointing when it came to the household goods. Minimal would be an understatement! Less than acceptable kitchen goods, not even a toasted. Not even a hair dryer. Few towels. When I asked for a dryer and toaster I was told they wld ask the owner and never heard back
