About this property

Beachy apartment a few minutes walk to multiple beaches, including Jolly Hall!

Simple & cute, our beachy 1 bed apartment is on the second floor with an outside stairwell. This is the upstairs left apartment.

Our place has all the comforts of home and is ideally located just 10 minutes from Exuma's airport, and 5 minutes from most of George Town's nightlife and activities.

We're a 6.5 minute walk to Jolly Hall Beach, about a 20 minute to the Turtle Beach in Hoopers Bay, and there's a little beach less than 5 minutes walk from us that is so unused, it doesn't have a name!
With brand new bedding, and a recently renovated bathroom, a full kitchen, it's home away from home. The apartment is on the second floor of a two story building, which makes for a great breeze if you want to leave the windows open. Jamie and Rebecca, your hosts, live downstairs for any questions you might have. Please note that the staircase is outside.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook with, and we even have a cooler for you to take to the beach. If you're unlucky and have a rainy day, there's board games too!

We are still working on the downstairs where we live and the outside of the building/driveway so the exterior isn't the prettiest. Isn't what's on the inside inside, what counts?

Most of our guests are adventurous couples or friends that are looking for a nice, clean space to come home to after a long day at the beach or exploring. We're happy to offer suggestions on what to do and how to surprise your partner with a trip they won't forget!

Home away from Home

Jamie and Rebecca were the perfect host!! The communication was perfect, the listing was spot on and was smack dab in the middle of the island that put us minutes from everywhere!! I couldn’t of asked for a better spot in the sun!!

We're a late 30s couple (I'm Bahamian, husband is Canadian) and we live full time in Exuma. We live downstairs and airbnb our two units upstairs. We did the apartments ourselves over a year and a half, prior to covid. While we both work full time and our daughter goes to school, we're always available if you have questions about what to do while you're here, or if you need any kind of assistance.

Why they chose this property

If you are looking for something affordable, cozy, clean, fresh, homey and central, we're the place for you! We are a 5 minute walk to two beaches, so you can make a drink, walk on down to the beach and come back for lunch and a nap before continuing your day. Jolly Hall Beach is one of the most spectacular on the island. The other beach is so small and unknown it doesn't have a name!

We're also a 1 minute walk to Candy Island, the island's only real ice cream shop.

We are as central as you can possibly be. 15 minutes from the airport, a 5 minute drive to the islands two grocery stores, the only pharmacy and the best liquor stores.
