Known as a fisherman's paradise, the fishing experts in your group will never want to leave this hot spot. You'll have access to the best locations for crabbing, clamming, surf fishing and deep-sea fishing. If you need some guidance, take a charter trip where the locals can help you find the best catch in some of their favorite places. Of course, for those who want to stay closer to the shore, Cape Arago State Park and Shore Acres State Park are nearby for beautiful beaches and wildlife sanctuaries.
The upper level deck may be the best place to hang out on summer afternoons. Have a BBQ using the charcoal grill or just enjoy a cold glass of iced tea! On the main level you'll find a spacious living room with two leather recliners, a sofa, and big windows to let in beautiful views. There's even a fireplace for cozy nights in.

Sit down at the big dining table where you can discuss the best part of your day while enjoying a nice dinner with the family.
Head down the windy stairs to the lower level and you'll have more living space. Curl up on the couch while watching your favorite cable show or a DVD on the TV. In addition, there's a table, microwave, and a full bathroom down here.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental managementthings like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Me and my family had a wonderful time at the house .. the backyard was huge for the kids to run around and play .. had a okay view or the ocean off the back purch .. the only downfall was the whole house only had 1 older tv witch I couldn't hook my Xbox up too so I went to the closest wal mart and got a cheap little one
Brought the family and enjoyed the beach and park trail. It is a double level living space so be aware with the elderly or wheelchair. we loved it! Only a small old tv, it was fine for us but if the owners wanted to make an investment I would suggest another tv for family viewing upstairs.
All was what it said it was. Comfortable, roomy and clean. Relaxing. Boots and crap rings were a plus for us and location was convient.
This was one of nicest vacations I have every had. This house is just right for people who want the amenities of home but don't mind a little rustic decor. It was warm, cozy and well appointed. Beautiful windows with a view of the ocean in the front and the most unbelievable emerald green forrest as far as the eye can see at the back. The highlight of my vacation was running in the forrest along the trails going straight from the backyard. I was able to run "Francis's Loop" enough to get in a few miles: so serene, so beautiful.
We enjoyed the quaint town of Charleston, delighted at the absence of a fast food restaurant and thrilled to have fresh fish meals at the little local restaurants.
I can't wait to return!
The property was as expected from the photos and descriptions provided online. The bed was comfortable. As described, the kitchen has some essentials, but not everything you might need to cook a big meal. We loved being close to Sunset Cove and Shore Acres. We were disappointed that the TV did not work. (No batteries in the remotes and when we replaced them we still couldn't get a good picture). It would have been nice to have TV or movies to watch since the DVD player did work. There was plenty of room. We enjoyed watching for whales out the front windows and just looking at the beautiful back yard. The furniture is dated but just fine for staying at the beach. We will definitely stay here again.
