The main level offers a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy wood‑burning fireplace, and a large private deck perfect for grilling or soaking in the scenery. Enjoy Smart TVs, high‑speed WiFi, a PlayStation 3, and a dedicated workspace with a monitor and printer. Three portable AC units keep the home comfortable year‑round, and a washer/dryer adds everyday convenience.

Located just off Highway 550 with easy access to Purgatory Resort, the home includes two parking spaces and two cruiser bikes for exploring the area. Whether you’re here to ski, hike, bike, or simply relax under the Colorado sky, Cliffside Casa blends modern amenities with true mountain charm.

AMENITIES: The property has a shared hot tub, playground, and hiking. You can also walk or bike the 0.3-mile dirt road from the condo to the Nugget Mountain Bar - they have a food truck and indoor/outdoor seating with firepits. In the summer, they also feature live music! In the summer, a bike ride to the ski resort would be easy, too.

LOCATION: Silverpick sits at appx 8800 feet in elevation. It borders the National Forest and is about halfway between the historic towns of Durango and Silverton. This prime location is just 1 mile from Purgatory Ski Resort's entrance and approximately 25 minutes from downtown Durango, with scenic drives up to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy both quiet privacy and the incomparable Needles Mountain views from this townhome, while being close enough to the action of Purgatory Resort where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

PETS: This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Pets must be crated if they are left home alone. Guests are expected to clean up after their pets.

NOTE: There is a Ring spotlight camera over the front door - lights will turn on with motion.

Beautiful place to stay. The check in and check out process was very easy. My boys, ages 11 and 13, loved the bunk bed room. The place was very clean. The kitchen has every pot and pan and utensil you need to cook. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful townhome

We loved our stay here. Very close to Purgatory ski resort and a wonderfully quiet area. You could see all the stars at night! The house had everything you could want as far as kitchen appliances and amenities as well as comforts throughout. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Lovely place -- Great stay!

This is a very nicely appointed condo. It is really well decorated, very comfortable and has lots of nice touches (and everything we needed). I loved the king sized bunk beds and the kitchen is fabulous! I'm a very light sleeper and the heaters make a bit of noise so we had to turn the thermostats down at night -- otherwise this was a perfect stay.

Christmas Family ski trip

My family of 4 adults and small dog stayed in this VRBO. It was in a great location to the Purgatory Ski Resort and less than 30 mins to Durango. It was a great size for all of us to hangout and relax after busy day skiing and snowmobiling tour. The communication with host was great and quick to respond. The home was clean and well stocked for all our needs. Definitely recommend staying here for convenience to Purgatory Resort.

The house was very comfortable and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked including basic spices, storage containers, cleaning supplies and everything you would need to make meals, plus a nice dishwasher. I enjoyed using the large copper kitchen sink. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The three bathrooms were spacious and well stocked including nice towels. We did not use the fireplace or the hot tub but both appeared to be very nice. This is a great location between Durango and Silverton. There are some small lakes nearby as well as a convenience store and gas station. The large TV’s were a nice touch as well as the coffee station. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Our family would definitely recommend and would stay here again. We came in the summer but would be an amazing location for winter and skiing. We walked to the Nugget twice for lunch. My kids loved the trails for hiking right behind the complex. We sat out on the patio every evening. Highly recommend!

The washer and dryer was available for guest use. We did not use the fireplace nor the hot tub but both appeared to be very nice. We felt safe staying here and the views of the mountains were great. This is a fun place to stay if you are visiting Durango but you don’t want to stay in town. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo across from the lodge was perfect for the wedding festivities of my daughter's college roommate. We were close by but could escape to our beautiful and quiet accommodations. I have one suggestion. The morning sunrise was spoiled by the dirt and grime on the sliding doors to the deck. I would have cleaned them myself but we were too busy with wedding jobs. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We normally stay at a different place up the road from the silverpick but they do not allow pets. Their loss our gain as this place is much newer and very well equipped. Plenty of room and close to everything we do. The price was very comparable and the townhouse was very spacious unlike other places we have stayed. We will book again in the future. The management company was very easy to work with and very good about keeping in touch with us, very nice to have good channel of communication.

Great location for family ski trip

Our family of 6 was comfortable in the condo for our ski trip. Location was great as it was probably 1 mile to the slopes. Check in and out was super simple and straight forward. We appreciated some kitchen basics were supplied like salt, pepper and cooking oil. It’s just nice not to have to purchase every little thing on vacation. It was convenient that the condo has 2.5 baths and also that a starter kit of soap, shampoo etc was supplied and plenty of TP. Nothing worse than showing up to a rental that only gives you a couple rolls for several days! We loved all the movies saved in youtubeTV… it made finding something to watch very easy! The only reason I knocked off a star was because the condo was 53 degrees inside when we arrived and it took quite a while to warm up to a comfortable temperature since a snow storm was blowing in, and there was pet hair on/in one of the beds. I know dogs are allowed (and we have a big dog at home), but I wouldn’t expect it to be in the bed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
