Our stay was wonderful and we had no problems. Host communication was clear for arrival and departure. The cottage was lovely, clean, spacious and well appointed. Great location, easy access to stores of all sorts, easy to get to Charleston or Isle of Palms. I would definitely stay here again.

Our place was so fun and exactly as described. The owner is right next door and extremely helpful! Neighbors were sweet and neighborhood was safe. Close to beach and shops and restaurants. Would definitely return.

Perfect little home away from home

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this house! It was exactly as pictured and the host provided all the necessities needed! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed relaxing on the swing in the enclosed porch! We would stay here again and recommend it to others!

Great Stay!

Home was as advertised. Cozy and comfortable for the whole family to relax during down time. In a good neighborhood close to anything you would need in a very nice area. 15 minutes to downtown Charleston and 25 minutes to the airport. Really enjoyed our stay. Host was proactive and very helpful.

Fantastic snowbird stay in centrally located property!

We had a lovely month experiencing Mount Pleasant and the greater Charleston area. Any issues were promptly addressed, as the owners live right next door! Everything was exactly as described and we would gladly return again. I will say the bedroom converted from the garage does not have heat and is way too cold to be usable in winter months. It does have an air unit for summer. Great stay!

Awesome Place

This house is precious! Everything was new and fresh looking. Enough space for everyone. Nice big comfortable beds. Beautiful outside space as well with a deck and firepit. It is close to everything! Beach, shopping, restaurants... I highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

Fantastic!

This place was fantastic! The place was decorated so cute and so comfortable. We were not lacking for anything. Had a great back deck and a wonderful screened in porch with an amazing swing bed. Close to everything! Did not disappoint! If we ever go back would definitely book this home away from home again!

Quiet, Beautiful Retreat for our Shipyard visit!

Our stay here was absolutely WONDERFUL!! We came in late and the host left the lights on for us! We were very impressed with how clean and homey this house was! The neighborhood is very quiet with very friendly neighbors. The back porch and backyard was a treat in itself! The bed swing and hammock were just what we needed! The beds were extremely comfortable! We couldn’t have asked for a better place! We will definitely visit again!!

Beautiful, comfortable and well organized

Absolutely loved our stay over the July 4th week! The home is beautiful, beds were so comfortable, the porch bed is amazing! Lots of chillaxing in every part of the home. My teenager loved the little 'suite' she had with her own tv. The neighbors were wonderful and we even had a private fireworks show which our daughters loved. Cindy is absolutely lovely and was so accessible for questions and offered great places to eat and enjoy the week.

Breezy porch and comfy beds

Lovely house in Mt. Pleasant with 4 bedrooms, 5 total beds was perfect for four friends on a girlfriend get-away. Decorating is darling and kitchen had everything we needed. Clean and neat home but we spent most of our free time on the comfortable screen porch with outside eating area. Outdoor fire-pit and chairs looked inviting. Swing on the porch was the best place to be.

Girls Trip

We chose Sunny Side Up for our annual mom/daughter/cousin getaway to the CHS area this year. After an unfortunate circumstance during our check-in process, we appreciated that Cindy did everything in her power to right the situation - including a refund for our first night's stay. The property is as described w/comfy beds, plenty of pillows/blankets/towels, etc. Ample seating, fully stocked kitchen, complete w/coffee and snacks and a beautiful backyard. It's also an easy drive to beaches, restaurants or downtown CHS. Cindy is also very responsive to texts and requests. We so enjoyed our time in the lowcountry and would recommend this property!

Great property

This house was great for our trip. We had a small group of women here for a bachelorette trip to Charleston. House was really set up nicely. It was just a delight to walk in! Background music on…. Lots of thoughtful touches from the house owner (shampoo and conditioner in bathrooms, coffee and fixings. Kitchen supplies were great. It was easy to get to Charleston downtown attractions. The host was delightful to deal with. When I reserved the property she was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, etc when I told her why we were there. I had a couple of questions before we arrived and she was quick to answer. Check in was a breeze. I would recommend this property for a family or small group.

Quaint, cozy, and delightful!

We booked this house for our family’s summer trip so we could be close to both downtown Charleston and the Isle of Palms. The location didn’t disappoint! Very short drive to the beach, to both stores and restaurants, and about 25 minutes to downtown Charleston (traffic, mainly). Upon arrival, the house was very clean and well-maintained. We also found it to have all of the household-type things that we use back at home — we didn’t need to worry about anything other than food. We felt quite “at home” — the house comfortably held all seven of us during our stay. The covered back porch, swing bed, and the hammock certainly got a lot of use for both rest and relaxation! Our kiddos loved spending time outside in the evenings! Cindy was a very accommodating host, taking the time to bring over a couple of extra beach chairs for us to use. She also did a wonderful job of communicating with us before and during our stay — very quick to reply with any questions. Thank you so much for hosting us this week — we had a wonderful time!

5-Star Experience from Start to Finish!

I recently stayed at this vacation rental and it was truly an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, I could tell that the owner truly cared about her guests. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully chosen. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with the softest pillows I've ever slept on. I loved that there were plenty of towels and linens provided, so I didn't have to worry about anything during my stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and cookware I needed to prepare meals, and there was even a barbecue grill outside that I used to cook up some delicious steaks. The living room was spacious and comfortable, with a big TV and comfy couches that were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. One of the things that really stood out to me was the owner's attention to detail. There were many extras that I don't usually see in a rental, such as a clothes steamer, and cleaning supplies. Cindy also checked in with me during our stay to ensure everything was going well, which I appreciated. Overall, I cannot recommend this vacation rental highly enough. It was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish, and I can't wait to come back again!

Owning a small beach rental has been a dream of mine for many years. Today, I'm grateful to be able to share this special place with guests from all over.

Before moving to Charleston five years ago, I spent many years in Chicago where I was a teacher and raised my three children. Teaching was a rewarding chapter of my life, and raising my family there created countless memories. When I eventually made the move to Charleston and opened my short-term rental, it felt like the start of an exciting new adventure.

One of the greatest joys of this chapter is that my three grown children have since followed me here, and they all now live in the Charleston area. Having my family close again has made this place feel even more like home.

Hosting allows me to combine so many things I love - welcoming people, creating comfortable spaces, and sharing the beauty of this incredible coastal area. It truly brings me joy to help guests have a relaxing, memorable stay and experience all that Charleston and the nearby beaches have to offer.

Quail Hollow is a charming, quiet neighborhood just minutes from the energy of the beach and nearby shopping. As soon as you turn in, the pace slows and the atmosphere becomes calm and relaxed. The neighborhood is a simple half-mile loop of homes, perfect for a peaceful morning walk. With only one entrance, the only cars passing by are those of neighbors who live here, creating a private, tucked-away feel.
