Enjoy this Gorgeous lake front villa with a unique stunning view to the Arenal volcano and Lake. This is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom villa with amazing views from each room, the 2 bedroom are now equipped with brand new AC. The villa has a jacuzzy with hot water space for up to 2 guests, its has a full equipped kitchen and very open and spacious living area that connect direct with the pool overlooking the Arenal Lake and volcano. This villa is very confortable with outdoor seating areas in the garden and a Grill by the pool, enough space for parking up to 4 cars. We are very close to all the natural hot springs, Natural reserves, waterfalls and all kind of activities in La fortuna and in the Arenal National Park, we are also close to restaurants and shops.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! The views were magnificent. Only 2 downsides, a very “yappy” dog the first day and night and we couldn’t use the main television at all, only the small one in a bedroom. The pool was too cool because of where it's placed for the time of year we visited.

Great property

We had a lovely time! The house is a bit out of town, so nice and quite but easy access to all the fun activities and great food. Would definitely stay here again. PS - Manager was able to book a last minute fishing trip for us and we had a great time!

We loved Love Arenal! A clean and comfortable home with a laid back atmosphere. The Super down the street was perfect for snacks and drinks. We enjoyed empanadas from the sopa and had three lovely dinners a short walk away to Fusion Arenal. Maria was very helpful and so nice. The 24 hour power outage was not a problem. Fusion even served dinner through it with candles on the tables. I would recommend bringing an umbrella and light rain ponchos . We walked to a very cool organic farm. We were able to get Uber to take us to hot springs and hikes. Beautiful rainbows, clouds, many birds and howler monkeys calling at night. Thank you!

Great location

It was in a good location, very comfortable beds, beautiful view. It was advertised as kid friendly, had open staircase and electrical outlets at very tempting kid height, had to watch the 2 year old like a hawk. We heard howler monkeys, saw Scarlet Macaws at the house. Visited Margot sustainable farm, Sky Bridges and a couple of the hot springs. Had a very good time. Thank you

Lovely private forest stay with beautiful view and access to La Fortuna activities

This was a very lovely out of the way place to stay. The views in the morning were magnificent, and the kids enjoyed the small private pool with a waterfall on the property. The manager was very responsive and the people helping run the property were very kind and helpful. Keep in mind that it is a somewhat remote area in Costa Rica, and there are insects and utilities can randomly shut off sometimes. Overall it was a very lovely stay. We especially loved the large open living area overlooking the lake and the private pool. Parking is out of view of the road and covered for 2 cars although more could probably park there.

Family holiday

Great location for a relaxing stay. Several things to do in the area. Adequate kitchen, but hard to accommodate meals for our large group of 7. The deck area was great! Very good restaurants within walking area! The WiFi tended to be spotty. When describing the location please use El Castillo as the main town location. We came the back road and GPS location didn’t match the coordinates. And we didn’t have cell phone service. It was a fun adventure! Excellent responses and even a pontoon tour provided by our contact person Manerique.

We traveled to this home as a family of 4, with 2 boys 10 and 12 in Mid July. The good-1. The view is awesome. The house is located on a hill overlooking Lake Arenal with an amazing view of the volcano. 2. The grounds are beautiful, lots of flowers and plants, well maintained and in good condition. 3. The outdoor area is large and nice. Pool is nice, although a little cold. Now the bad-1. The ad makes the house look like it is directly on the lake. It is not. It is across the street and up the hill from the lake, no direct access. 2. The kitchen is located on the first floor. This area is open to the elements with metal security bars, and is not air conditioned. Stove is a 2 burner camping stove. Very poorly equipped. Roof leaks in the rain, and it rains all the time. Cockroaches constantly walk through drawers, on plates and silverware.3. No closets at all, nowhere to hang up clothes at all. I had to hang clothing on curtain rods. 4. The power was a problem. 3rd day or power went out. Came back on around 3am. Had to cook dinner by candlelight. Next day power went out again, hosts sent someone to help, and the were eventually able to restore power. Before that, we were packing our stuff by candlelight. 5. No window screens at all. When you open the window, large black aggressive hornets come in. Not good when the power is out, and the house gets hot and stuffy. 6. Host response time is very slow. Typically took about 14 hours for them to respond. No instructions.

Quiet Costa Rican Home

We enjoyed our stay here. There are plenty of beds and the kitchen was very well furnished. We did not have any sunny days, but the views and the quiet were great! The bedrooms have locks, but the rest of the home is open to the outdoors. We had no issues with any critters. Great little market at the base of the driveway as well as a great restaurant. You are about 45 minutes from Fortuna. Finding the home was difficult. There are no addresses here and it was dark. The driveway is very, very, very steep. The hosts were very helpful - use WhatsApp to communicate. Our family felt very safe and enjoyed the unique setting.
