It's the perfect place to step away from the disruption and overwhelm of the busy world. The cottage has fibre optic internet. Read below for the enrichment it DOES provide:
This lovely cottage is perfectly situated in the quiet working fishing village of Parkers Cove, Nova Scotia, approximately 10 minutes by car over the Parker Mountain from historic Annapolis Royal. Watch the spectacular sunsets over the Bay while you rock your cares away on the wrap-around porch. Spot porpoise, seals, and eagles as they occasion the cove and surroundings. Take a nap or read a good book in the hammock.
Refresh yourself as you beachcomb the rocky shoreline for miles. Enjoy local produce, baked goods, and fine crafts from the local farmer's market in Annapolis and then pick out your fish, scallops, and lobster from a local fish market or right off the boat where the salty fisherman's advice is always free, but not always accurate! Treat yourself to a day in town where shops abound and museums and historic sites will steep you in early colonial history.
Breathe in the flower fragrances at the Historic Gardens. Take in a movie or a live music performance or play at the King's Theatre. Take a hike or go kayaking at nearby Kejimkujik National Park.
Whatever suits your style, your pace, the cottage provides a comfortable and friendly 'home' for rest, relaxation, and recreation. Only 2 hours from Halifax, a day trip to other parts of Nova Scotia is very possible from the cottage.
The cottage itself is meticulously clean and tidy, well-appointed to make your stay comfortable and comforting. Feel safe and secure by knowing strictest housekeeping protocols are in place, including disinfecting surfaces and linens between stays. The cottage will be vacant of guests for at least one day minimum between stays. This may require flexibility on reserving your dates.
Your well-behaved dog is welcome at the cottage. Cats are not allowed due to the owner's allergies.
The cottage is considered by many, both locals and visitors, to be THE perfect spot on the Bay of Fundy shore.

It was amazing you could not have asked for a more beautiful spot and the owner made sure you had everything you could possibly have asked for. I would stay there again and definitely stay there again.
Was a lovely place to stay overlooking the ocean. Watched the tides, eagles and other wildlife. Very peaceful and quiet. Bunk beds were very small, not for taller kids, overall a great place.

Thank you so much for your review. Please consider returning again in the future!
Great location, cottage had everything we needed. However, the bed I was in at the end of the living room by the fireplace was too small (double) for two adults plus mattress was uncomfortable. A cozy queen bed would be better.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you felt the beds were too small for you. The listing does describe the beds as “double” in size. The bedrooms are quite cozy, too cozy for a queen bed to fit and leave room to get around and in and out of bed easily. I am glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise!
Great view of the bay and interesting harbour. Good place to sight see from. Great place to return to and relax on the porch. Can't get much closer to the water. Everything you need is there for making meals.

Thank you for your appreciation of the cottage and its beautiful environment!
Another super relaxing week on the Bay of Fundy, we were lucky enough to be there for Canada Day thus time and enjoy Annapolis Royal, the original Capital City of the province. Great spot for the dog to explore, to bird watch, super base to take day trips on the motorcycle from and then come home to for sunset.

I’m so happy to hear you’ve enjoyed yourself again at the cottage and we’re able to take part in the Canada Day festivities! You are welcome back anytime.
Good place but needs new mattresses and a larger shower.

Thank you for your feedback, Bruce. I always appreciate my guests’ input so that I may make improvements. As seen in the photos, the overall small size of the cottage and limited bathroom space prevents installing a larger shower at this time. Hopefully you had other positive experiences that made up for the inconveniences.
This house is on a beautiful spot right on the Bay of Fundy. The view is great. Nice sunsets. Everything we needed was close by but we had great privacy.
I appreciate all my guests leaving feedback so that I may improve on each guest's comfort and pleasurable experience and getting a better understanding of their expectations.
Charming older home, right on the Bay of Fundy, delightful! The bathroom is a little small, so if you’re a big guy, it might be a tight fit. No complaints at all. Great food nearby, check out The Crows Nest. Amazing to watch the tide come and go, and go…and go. Wow. I sat on a boulder out in the Bay at low tide, like a mermaid, and braided my hair. What a sweet memory. Thanks Beth for keeping us posted regarding the Lake fireprior to our arrival. Unfortunately, a month later, it is still burning. Oh Canada!
A million miles from distractions and 10 minutes to Annapolis Royal, a national gem with food, history, fresh seafood and produce, and a wicked little brewery. Google it all and go.
Very private, cozy bay front property with private access to a cove next to the fishing pier. Despite chilly waters, our kids splashed for hours among the picturesque rocks. The interior is vintage and very thoughtfully adorned with antiques and well appointed for a comfortable stay. We had a minor snafu with an appliance during our stay and Beth was very responsive and attentive, having it addressed quickly even after a holiday weekend. A perfect launching point from which to explore the Annapolis Valley!
Beth's place is right on the water. It is very quiet, loved watching the tides role in and out. The home is exactly as pictured, well organized and not over crowded with "stuff". Loved the porch-we saw lots of birds, seals and a humpback breech twice! He put on quite a show! The location is great for many day trips. We loved it so much we are hoping to reserve for two weeks next year.
My mother travelled from Ontario and we came just 2 hours to spend quality time in a relaxing setting. We enjoyed every moment, from seeing eagles soaring and seals chilling out to the boat action in the marina. Everything we needed was in the cottage, we rarely left the porch and feel rejuvenated and rested after a supposed heatwave then rain storm came through, we barely noticed! Thank you to Beth for creating the perfect bayside retreat with all the amenities and THE best view.

You are so welcome! My goal is to help people relax, unwind and rejuvenate. The cottage is a great place to reconnect with loved ones and oneself. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay!
Besides the stunning location, the well appointed rustic seaside cottage, being able to hang clothes outside and the spellbinding silence, it was transforming.
Perfect for reading, painting, rug hooking, sun rising and sunsetting walking thru the longest daylight of the year and wilderness trails .
Learned about Canadian birthplace and history through the garden.
Our time was wide and long.
Will be back!
Reminded me of an old family cottage - rustic and comfy but a little musty. Our last 2 nights here were quite cold and turning the heat on helped clear the mustiness. No tv or internet (which we knew) and we couldn't even get cell service which bothered my husband, but there was a great paperback collection. And the view over the Bay of Funds was spectacular!!

Thank you for your review. The cottage is indeed an old family cottage and for some, that is part of its charm. It is a getaway for those who wish to “unplug” from the hustle and bustle of life. Older oceanside homes in the area do retain some dampness and turning in the heat does help!
Wow! The Cozy Seaside Cottage on the Bay of Fundy was an amazing place to stay. We watched the lobster boats on the dock from our kitchen window. When the tide was high they were up in the water; when it was down some rested on the bay floor. Out the living room window--or from the deck chairs--you could watch the sea birds (including a heron), sun rise, and sun set. We loved the cottage and its simplicity, as well as its loaded bookshelf. The cottage is situated an easy 10 minutes to Annapolis Royal, and also close to Digby. Not far from Port Royal or the Keji park, where we canoed and saw a loon up close. A nice day trip to Lunenburg. It will leave you with a sense of wonder. Get your lobster right from the vendor. All tools for cooking and eating it are supplied. Lovely, quiet sleeping. A place to remember, and hopefully return to. Thank you, Beth, for being so accommodating! My family loved it.

Thank you so much for your appreciation, Stephen. The cottage and environs are wondrous, indeed!
We spent a fantastic few days here, watching the Fundy tides coming in and out, hiking and visiting the locality. Beth's cottage is a real treat! We would not hesitate to return!
I enjoyed my stay at the cottage with my daughter. We escaped the hustle and bustle and enjoyed combing the rocks for treasures and curled up with a good book on several evenings.
This cozy cottage provided every amenity needed for our stay. Such amazing memories were made!
We spent 4 nights at this lovely little cottage in Parker’s Cove. We enjoyed watching the tides from the porch.Did lots of sightseeing. Only about a 10 minute drive into Annapolis Royal . Would definitely recommend!
The owner of the cottage is a second generation owner. I am pleased to be able to share the cottage's peace, quiet and comfort with others seeking seaside relaxation and the beauty of the Canadian maritimes.
