Great property and perfect location in Annapolis Royal
My wife and I were traveling with our 1 year old baby and Anita's apartment was the perfect solution for us. The pictures do not accurately show just how much space you will have. There are two bedrooms with the option for a third room with a futon. The apartment also has a kitchen, washer and dryer and a separate TV/living room. Traveling with a baby is never easy and this 2nd floor apartment was just what we needed. We were able to put our daughter to bed early every night and then enjoy a glass of wine and a view of the harbor from the front room. A great choice if staying in Annapolis.
A Great Place in Annapolis Royal
This apartment has everything that you would need for a stay on the Bay of Fundy. The kitchen is small but well equipped and the owner provides the basic needs for breakfasts. There are lots of thoughtful touches that will make your stay comfortable. The apartment is centrally located for exploring all of the Annapolis Valley and the Arcadian Shores. We would strongly recommend this place to anyone.
Great property in a perfect location!
Wilfs Place was definitely a highlight for us on our recent trip to Nova Scotia! Anita was lovely to deal with and even went so far as to leave some breakfast essentials and a bottle of local wine to enjoy! The apartment itself was clean and well appointed and the location is central to everything in this little town. I highly recommend hitting up the farmers market if you're there on a Saturday or Wednesday! Soooooo good!
A perfect spot.
Lovely view. Great location. Comfortable.
Great apartment, beautiful location, gracious host
We enjoyed a wonderful 2-day stay in August. Anita went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and provided tons of local tips on things to do in the area. The apartment was bright and very clean and nicely decorated with stunning views of the harbor. Everything you could need is within a short walk. We definitely appreciated the breakfast supplies and bottle of wine upon our arrival. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat- just have to figure out how to get back to Nova Scotia sometime.
The appartement is modern and clean but has an accent cashet, very central in Annapolis Royal.
We used this appartement as our base to visit Annapolis valley and the bay of Fundy.
In 2004, the United Nations Environment Program called Annapolis Royal 'the most livable' small town in the world. It was selected for the beauty of its landscape and the attention it gives to local heritage and the environment. The town of 525 was the site of the first permanent European settlement in Canada. Located on the shore of the Annapolis River, Annapolis Royal dates back to 1629. It was the capital of Acadia and then Nova Scotia for more than 100 years until the founding of Halifax in 1749. Today Annapolis Royal plays host to visitors from all over the world. Old and new exist side by side--the largest tidal power project in the world down the way from the fort that stood guard over the river for both the British and French at different times in its history. This small corner of Nova Scotia houses world-class craftspeople and artists showing their wares at the summer market. Restaurants and shops dot the main street, just steps away from Wilf's Place. Come and stay in wonderful Annapolis Royal!
