Nice house

Nice house, good neighborhood, not very close to beaches and not entirely equipped as a vacation stay. But clean, spacious, tall ceilings, pleasant as a whole

Close to family

We had a nice stay and were happy with the location as it was close to a family house down the street. The house was clean and comfortable. We had some problems with the pool but the rental agent is working on correcting that. We would be happy to return if it is available when we go there again.

This house, and the property was AMAZING. I can not say enough good things about the house. We would 100% rent this place again. The house is so roomy, and clean. The garage is nice to park your car in at night. We LOVED the heated screened in pool, made it super nice for having toddlers. The house had everything we needed to cook, grill, and just have an overall great vacation!

Bring all your own stuff, and be prepared to wash everything

The property was dated but that was well displayed in the images and not a problem for us. A bigger problem was that there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms no dishwasher detergent less than one full roll of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness left the desired. Well there were kitchen items available for use every drawer we pulled out was riddled with crumbs and possibly droppings of some kind so everything had to be washed before use. Which wasn't easy considering the lap of lack of soap provided. We brought the issues to the host's attention many hours later they replied back with a "sorry about that" and that was pretty much the extent of it. The shower door was not attached and was just leaning on a wall in the bedroom. There were no floor mats for the bathrooms which made it very slippery when trying to get out. We would have used a towels but there weren't really enough towels for everyone in the first place. The guest bedroom had animal droppings along the corners of the room in the carpet. Also if you need privacy on your trip this is not the place for you as none of the bedroom or bathroom doors lock. I will say the view was spectacular from the backyard. They under sell that in the photos. But overall we wouldn't stay here again or recommend. It's vacation so we tried to make the best of it but it was definitely a bit skeevy!

This property was not ready to be rented!!!

This was the first rental after Covid and it was clearly not ready for renters! The house is very very outdated in style, decor and appliances. To name a few of a very long list of disappointments, the security system alarm went off multiple times per night with minimal instructions on how to resolve, no Wi-fi information was shared initially and when asked, we were told to check the modem (no luck) and thus asked again the next day, water was shut off to washing machine, many burnt out light bulbs including the front porch light, no hair dryers, doors to both bathrooms were off their tracks and did not work, many pet/ carpet stains, water damage stain on the ceiling in the den, no check in nor check out instructions, kitchen burners were rusted and disgusting, and no functioning light in master shower/toilet room. It was disclosed to us the day prior to check-in that the garage had a large leak and did we want to still reserve.....where else would we go with 24 hour notice? The property manager tried to be of assistance BUT does VRBO even check their properties before renting? VRBO and this owner should be ashamed of the way this property was presented! I certainly hope to get a refund of some sort from the owner and/or VRBO. It is certainly deserved!

Laurie, my apologies to you. The house is not updated and it clearly shows that in the pictures. I did not try to hide anything. Yes, it was last minute regarding the garage, but as soon as it happened I wanted to let you know. The alarm system is still off, we are still having issues with that. I did try to accommodate as best as I could. Hope to see you as a renter in the future, if not at this home, then one of my other rentals.

The house was large and spacious, nice pool, The only complaint that we had was with some of the cooking utensils, the frying pan was way past time to throw out, everything stuck. With a new frying pan this place was exactly what we thought, would certainly stay here again. Good communication with the host.
