The Sunset Surf Villa is a beachfront vacation rental retreat located in Beacon Hill Estates, on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten near the heart of Maho, Simpson Bay, & Cupecoy. This vintage villa offers direct views of Burgeaux Bay & Saba during the day, and come evening the most spectacular sunsets & star-gazing up above. Relax and unwind on the massive deck area or go down to your own private 25 meter stretch of beach below.

Featuring 7 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms this home can accommodate up to 18 guests making it the perfect respite for a small family or large group. On the ground floor of the villa you'll find the living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms with 2 king size beds and one Queen size bed, 2 full bathrooms, the deck and pool area. On the upper floor you'll find 4 bedrooms with 2 king size beds and 4 queen size beds, 3 full bathrooms, and the upper patio area.

Sunset Villla Family Vacation!

This was an excellent place to bring our family to ! The beautiful house was spacious with multiple bedrooms and a large living area. The outside space was also great with a really nice pool for adults and kids and lots of outdoor seating . There is also access to the beach! We really enjoyed our stay and the view was spectacular !! Eli was always available to answer questions and help to make our stay memorable !

This is a property that is in a good location. The pool was enjoyed and the proximity to the ocean and views were amazing. There were enough rooms for our family, so we appreciated that and the ability to be together for meals and playing cards and other activities. Some problems occurred with the previous renters that were communicated to us an hour before check in. Broken handle on the main sliding door to the deck. Upon arrival the outside property was full of weeds and generally lacked appeal. This could be improved by half a days work weeding and cleaning up. The deck on the pool side was in disrepair (broken and uneven) which required our elderly parents and grandchildren to have to move carefully to avoid tripping. The access to the beach was like a tunnel where you had to bend over in half to get through. The grandkids loved it but there was no ability for the elderly to navigate this. The “beach” was nice but every other home had stairs down to it. On the first morning our grand daughter screamed when she saw a large bug crawling in the kitchen. It was a 1 1/2 inch cockroach. The property manager came later that day with a can of raid and sprayed outside the perimeter of the house. There was no oven in the kitchen which limited our meals. There was a very very old toaster oven which we did not feel comfortable using. The blue bathroom tub has no water at all. The living room light/fan was not working. The bedroom fan on main floor did not work. The place needs work.

We'd return to this sunset villa!

Jacob & Eli were gracious and responsive hosts. We had great communication and directions for the property. It was amazing to have a pool and a snorkeling beach at the same property. Outdoor grill worked great. We were able to park 3x small cars in the drive. Neighborhood is quiet and secure. Other reviews mention the airport noise but frankly we rarely heard anything over the sound of the waves on the beach!. No sargassum. Beach can be tricky to enter water but snorkeling is was nice. Kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pans and utensils. The clothes washer was hit or miss in operation. Nice washer, but likely damaged by daily, island-wide power outages. Dryer and dishwasher worked great. Outdoor eating area was very popular with the family. AC was good when the power was on. We would return to this property if we return to St. Maarten. Beachfront with pool and room for 9 people is just a great deal.
