It was lovely to be by the lake and have the view from the living room along with gas fireplace. So relaxing even in the off season.

We had a fantastic stay at this adorable lake house! The accommodations were perfect for our family of 6 adults - especially the beds! Great location to visit our son who attends UW-Madison and plenty of restaurants nearby. Jake was amazing with communication for check in and check out. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our weekend trip to Madison. Location was super quick to get to downtown, house was clean, and we really enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lakes to explore.

The host was very accommodating. Very nice place to stay. The only thing I would change is the upstairs bathroom fan was loud for those staying in the upstairs rooms. Other than that I would highly recommend and will be staying again if I get to Madison.

Downtown Madison Trip

We absolutely loved this place! Perfect spot with a pier on the water. My kids were catching fish within minutes. The house was perfect and Jake couldn’t have been easier to work with. Highly recommend!

Yahara River Retreat

The host Jake was very responsive to inquiries before we even booked the property. The home is in a great location on the Yahara River with access to Lake Waubesa, Lake Monona and Lake Mendota. There are serval nice sit down restaurants accessible via a 5 minute boat ride or a 5 minute walk.

Graduation Weekend

We stayed here for graduation weekend and it worked out perfectly! I booked over a year in advance, which was perfect so I did not have to stress over finding a hotel!

Fantastic location for visiting Madison students

We came into town for a girls weekend with our students at UW Madison. We had a fantastic stay here. The property was spotless. The views were beautiful. Our girls stayed with us. The location is perfect and easy to Uber from downtown Madison. A very safe and quiet location. We will definitely stay here again when we come back into town.

Perfect for a quiet family stay!

The house was perfect for the 4 adults we had staying. Adorable house; extremely clean and great location. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was spacious enough for us to make dinner one of the nights. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Lakeside Stay, Good for Families

Jake’s place was perfect for our stay, as it was a relaxing, clean and a nice home. The two floor layout worked especially well for our infant daughter so she had a quiet place to sleep, while we could cook and hang out in the living room. The only suggestion to the host is to install curtains along the picturesque sliding doors for a bit of extra privacy at nighttime.

Visiting Madison for a Wedding

We had a short but fun and comfortable stay here in October. We were close to both the wedding venue and Camp Randall for the Badger game. The family loved the time together hanging out between activities. The location provided a great space for family pictures too. . Easy to find

A lovely house!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The house was nicely decorated and extremely clean. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Shower was great. A perfect place for our group of friends to spend a long weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Beautiful lake view and stylish house!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The outdoor eating area was lovely on the deck overlooking the water for our group of six, young kids and adults. The inside of the home was very clean and comfortable. Loved the modern, stylish decor!! The location is also excellent close to Madison and so many things to do. Highly recommend!

ENTRY
There is a keypad located at the side door for a simple keyless entry. Entry code will be provided to you 72 hours before arrival. The code is changed after every guest.

PARKING
There are 4 parking spots in the driveway on the property.

INTERNET/CABLE/TV's
There is reliable high speed internet throughout the lakehouse.
There are TV's in all the bedrooms & living room all offer SmartTV features, available for you to log into your own account to enjoy!

GRILL
We have a Charcoal grill on the property but we do not have charcoal. The guest will be responsible for providing this. We do however have the utensils such as tongs, burger flipper, and grill scraper.

KITCHEN
Fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and all of the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/ Utensils.

WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE:
For your safety, we do not allow guests to use the wood-burning fireplace
