The property was well taken care of and had a great time when at the farmhouse. Central location to Oregon Caves, Redwoods, and Crater Lake. Luis the caretaker was very kind and there for anything we needed. The family had a great time picking cherry plums, blackberries, and other fruit in the area. Would definitely recommend the farmhouse if looking for a cabin/house to rent for a week in Southern Oregon.
The house and property was large, with plenty of room for a family of four and some guests. The surrounding area (vineyard) was very quiet and peaceful - waking up in the morning to the sounds of animals (both livestock and wild) was a delight. Cave Junction was not too far away, nor was it too close - It would be a very nice place to get some work or reading done.
We had no major issues during our trip, and enjoyed our stay. The only issues that came up were minor, and easily dealt with. The house is older, so some accommodation should be made for age and era when it was built. Anyone who is pretty tall might find themselves hitting their heads occasionally.
Overall, it is recommended for anyone who wants to spend time out in a quiet corner of Southern Oregon.
Great place to unwind and relax. Weather was awesome as well as the seneary ! Verizon phones did work for voice calls and text. Checking email was about the best the internet could get. But who cares when you want to disconnect from the world and relax! Will definitely stay there my next trip.
We had three generations stay under the same roof and we all loved it!!! Lots to do in the area. Swimming in the nearby was perfect! Foris winery is high quality. Would definitely stay there again!
Lovely home with comfortable furnishings. Not many amenities in the home, like no coffee filters for the coffee pot. Upstairs bathroom with only a makeup mirror.
