Perfect location right on the beach!! The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Kitchen was very well stocked. Bedrooms and living space was very comfortable. Gated community with a guard 24/7. Overall just a great place to stay

A wonderful place on the beach!

The location is the best on the entire beach in our opinion. A great pool and super easy access to the beach. A few good restaurants up the beach too. The property is very well maintained and everyone is friendly. Angelica, the house manager, was a wonderful communicator and was easily available when a few minor issues popped up. We would love to return and would try and make sure we stayed here again!

Great condo right on the beach

From the very start of booking to checking out was seamless. The condo is exactly as described. Lots of space with a great view of the ocean and sunsets.

Awesome!

We have stayed here several times and love it! The condo is clean and spacious. The property is very well maintained. We love the pool and the fact we can walk right onto the beach. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans, dishes, silverware, etc. Just about everything you would need. Looking forward to staying again.

Lovely condo on the beach

The condo has a great setting with pool and beach a very short walk. 3 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. Spacious and comfortable. Short walk to a few restaurants on the beach ! Plan to return next year.

Excellent condo

This was our first time visiting Costa Rica. We are so glad that we chose Playa Hermosa and this condo in particular. The condo sits right on the beach, so we had access to the ocean and the beach. There are restaurants and small stores within walking distance, and Bryan, our activities planner, was very helpful with arranging activities and helping us along the way. We are very happy to have found this condo for our stay on the Pacific coast and will hopefully return again.

fancy stay

This stay felt very fancy. The place was immaculate. It is decorated very nicely. Tons of bath and beach towels provided. Has a washer/dryer though you need to buy your own liquid detergent to use. The view from our balcony of the pool and beach was lovely. 4 restaurants within walking distance on the beach, with the farthest one being only a 10 minute walk. Not at all crowded on the beach. Felt very safe. Check in/out was super easy. We did not even have to go to the office as expected. They met us at the condo and let us right in. It is loud at night with the sounds of animals, but I found that to be the case everywhere I stayed in all of Costa Rica. Would definitely stay here again.

January family getaway

Very nice property with a great beach location. Playa Hermosa is a quiet, clean beach, never crowded even in January. Because of COVID, we didn't do many excursions but had a great stay anyway. The pictures in the listing very accurately reflect the space. The outdoor deck was great and the pool area was very nice, too.

Perfect Christmas Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at Sol Y Mar. Nothing but 5 stars overall for the condo. Extremely clean. Floor plan well thought out combined with a primo patio/balcony (2nd floor) area and very usable kitchen. All staff were very competent, friendly and helpful. Pool area was a hit for us, plus walks on the beach, swimming and snorkeling. Favorite spot for both breakfast and dinner was Roberto's. So cool and convenient to have so many eateries within a short walk. We'll see you next year!

Beautiful Beachfront Condo

Five nights at Playa Hermosa was hardly enough. We loved the condo and would return in a minute. A highlight was cooking on the grill while enjoying sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

Wow and even nicer than the pictures!

We had an amazing trip in what we now call our slice of heaven. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. We felt safe with the security guard and cameras around the property. The pool was perfect for all ages (toddlers included). The proximity to the beach and being able to walk down the beach to nearby excellent and reasonably priced restaurants - just perfect. The home had the softest towels and was very well stocked (not that we did much cooking!). The open floor plan inside and out on the balcony was perfect for our group. Zindis Group made us feel very welcome and left us many staples you don't always know if you will get when renting someone's home (hand soap in all the bathrooms, dish washing detergent, sponge, many other little things). Our house manager was very responsive to our few queries and so accommodating when we thought our flight home was going to be cancelled due to weather. Thank you for such a wonderful and worry free vacation!

Premium condo on best beach fantastic location

This was our first ever VRBO booking and we really were fortunate! Condo is gorgeous. Fantastic location on quiet clean sheltered beach. Beautiful pool. Full security 24hours a day. We woke every morning to the Howler Monkeys in the trees. Lots of restaurants walking distance. Zindis Group Rental Team was fantastic. We arranged airport transfer with them and a sunset sailboat cruise. Really impressed. We loved Costa Rica. Very clean, safe, welcoming and friendly people. We will be back.
