During the Summer, we rent by the week on a Friday-to-Friday basis. You may group together as many weeks as you’d like. Labor Day Weekend can be reserved as a three-night stay or it can be grouped together as a ten-night stay with the week prior.

Chadwick Cottage is available for every season & holiday – Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years. During most of the year, our minimum stay is two or three nights. Excellent discounts available for weekly and monthly stays during the Spring, Fall & Winter.

Ocean Grove is the perfect storybook village to celebrate the Fall & Winter holidays or get away for a relaxing winter weekend at the shore. Our home has two beautiful, wood-burning fireplaces. The town sparkles with holiday lights and decorations and the shops in Ocean Grove and Asbury Park offer creative holiday gifts. The Asbury Park Holiday Bazaar runs from late November through mid December and transforms Convention Hall into a winter wonderland with twinkling lights, hot cider, mulled wine, live music, Santa photos and a Christmas Market of great holiday gifts. Everything you need to get into the holiday spirit. The Victorian Holiday Festival and House Tour in Ocean Grove is on Dec 8 - 9. On New Year's Eve, there is a beautiful Black Tie Masquerade Ball in Asbury Park at the Grand Arcade in Convention Hall.

Chadwick Cottage is an historic Queen Anne Victorian built in 1882. It is available as both a Vacation Rental and as a Filming Location. It was completely restored, updated and professionally decorated and landscaped in 2001. It's located in Ocean Grove, NJ - a National Historic District. Chadwick Cottage is just a two minute walk to all the quaint shops & restaurants on Ocean Grove's Main Avenue. And it's just a quick five minute walk across the charming footbridge over Wesley Lake to all the hip bars, restaurants, shops, art galleries, theaters & music venues in Asbury Park. There are also tons of great activities for kids: Surfing Lessons at the Summertime Surf School, Arcade Games at the Silverball Museum (180 games - pinball, skeeball, video games), Asbury Splash Park, Asbury Miniature Golf, Glassblowing workshops at the Hot Sand glassblowing studio, etc.

This home is 2,000 square feet. It has a large, shaded front porch and side porch that overlook beautiful plantings. This home is just a 55 minute drive to Midtown Manhattan and is also just a five minute walk to Asbury Park, NJ - with all it's great restaurants & bars and it's amazing live music scene. Both Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi got their starts playing in Asbury Park at the Stone Pony.

On the first floor, this beautiful, spacious home features a large foyer with a front staircase and powder room, a living room with a corner fireplace and stained glass windows, a dining room with a corner fireplace, stained glass windows and a glass pass-thru to the cook's kitchen. The kitchen features custom glass cabinetry, a double under-mount sink with garbage disposal, extensive marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. Off the kitchen, there is a bar room perfect for mixing cocktails and brewing morning coffee, this room also features an under-mount sink, extensive marble countertops, a professional ice-maker, and custom cabinetry including a pantry that hides a full-sized front-loading stacked washer and dryer. Also off the kitchen is a large back foyer that contains antique cabinetry and a back staircase.

Upstairs features four private bedrooms, two of these bedrooms feature queen-sized beds and stained glass windows, two feature full-sized beds. Each bedroom features either extensive clothes closets or large wardrobes and dressers. There is also a large linen closet and a storage closet. Upstairs also has two beautiful full bathrooms. The front bathroom features an historic claw foot tub/shower, stained glass windows and marble sink. The back bathroom features a beautiful glass enclosed stall shower with a cascade shower head that releases a 'soft rain' flow of water from the ceiling. The back bathroom also has an antique pedestal sink.

We supply eight season beach badges to the Ocean Grove Beach. We also supply eight beach chairs, three beach umbrellas, one beach rolling cart and 10 beach towels.

Located along the beach, Ocean Grove is strategically situated at the geographic center of the Jersey Shore with Sandy Hook to the north and Atlantic City to the south, and all of the Shore's attractions within easy access. Only an hour’s drive from Manhattan (to the north) and 90 minutes from Philadelphia (to the south), Ocean Grove is a weekend, summer, and year-round destination for domestic and international travelers. Ocean Grove is also easily accessible by train and bus via New Jersey Transit. Newark Airport is the closest airport and the NJ Transit train runs from Newark Airport to Asbury Park, NJ - that train station is just a nine minute walk from Chadwick Cottage. Perhaps the most fun way to get between NYC and Ocean Grove is to take the Seastreak Ferry from East 35th Street or Wall Street to Atlantic Highlands, NJ and then grab an Uber from there to Chadwick Cottage in Ocean Grove. The ferry ride takes about 40 minutes. The Uber ride takes about 30 minutes. The ferry costs $21 to $27 and the Uber runs about $60 for up to six people. The ferry ride travels under the Verrazano Bridge and directly past the Statue of Liberty.

Summertime in Ocean Grove is filled with arts and craft shows, giant flea markets, guided historical walking tours, house tours, performances by famous named artists at the legendary Great Auditorium and much more. Having expanded into a town for all seasons, Ocean Grove now holds events year round to celebrate the uniqueness of this Victorian town, such as The Victorian House Tour in December, Chocolate Lovers Weekend in February, and the Garden State Film Festival in April. A stroll along Main Avenue anytime of the year is a rich reminder of Victorian life with its many quaint gift shops and antique stores. The Ocean Grove Boardwalk connects to the Bradley Beach Boardwalk to the south and the beautiful and hopping Asbury Park Boardwalk to the north with its shops, restaurants, chic lounges, casual bars and other entertainment venues.

The Asbury Park Boardwalk and Cookman Avenue Shopping District host Summer Bonfires on the beach (Fridays in June, Wednesdays in July & August) and everyday amusements such as pinball at the Silverball Museum, a whimsical WaterPark for kids, a miniature golf course, and glass-blowing at Hot Sand. The music scene in Asbury Park also remains a staple for visitors. The famed Stone Pony which launched the careers of Bruce Springsteen and John Bon Jovi continues to be a sentimental favorite while Convention Hall, Wonder Bar, The Saint, Paramount Theatre and green spaces along the boardwalk play host to bands and other performers year-round. There is not a day that goes by without live music in Asbury Park.
