Perched on the cliff above Cypress Falls, Island House provides a wonderful retreat for small group reunions, romantic getaways or adult family holidays. The kitchen, living room, and larger bedrooms open to the covered porch and enjoy views of the creek and the peaceful sound of waterfalls. Swimming under awesome sunsets, bird watching, and easy golf course access highlight the peace and quiet of creek side living.
Fully equipped for 6 overnight adult guests with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and a swimming pool. Island House is available for 1 night stays Sunday-Wednesday, 2 night minimums Thursday-Saturday and 3 night minimums on holidays, Island House has been fully renovated with new appliances, granite and walnut countertop and bar. The large kitchen opens to the living room so all guests may enjoy the view of the pool and the creek below!
Our guests enjoy all the entertainment comforts of home, including Roku 3, cable, wireless internet, a blue ray DVD/CD player, a large selection of CDs and DVDs, I-pod music systems and flat screen/HD TVs in the living room and master bedroom.
The large outside dining table on the back porch allows for wonderful meals with a cool breeze from the creek. Nature lovers take great pleasure from the hummingbirds, hawks and great blue herons that are seen daily.
Golfers find the Quicksand Golf Club just around the corner and Island House guests view the pond at the 8th hole across the street.
Our home is a wonderful adult retreat - young children, pets and smoking are not allowed.
100% of the total rental payment amount is refunded if cancelled 30 days or more prior to the Check-in Date less $50 bookkeeping fee.
50% of the total rental amount if cancelled less than 30 days prior to the Check-in Date, subject to the rental of the property to another guest for the same rate. A $50 bookkeeping fee will be charged.

Island House at Cypress Falls, The Blue Hole House, and Casa Blanca on the Wimberley Square are family owned properties. June and Henry Winston Ault and their daughter Suzanne Oliver all live in Wimberley, having retired here after years in Austin. They are an integral part of the creative Wimberley community. "We love the cool, clean water and the artistic culture here. We enjoy sharing this relaxing life with people from all over the world and of all backgrounds. We open our homes to all people with open hearts!"

My family and I spent thanksgiving here and loved it! The view of cypress creek was so nice and the sunsets were beautiful. The house was clean, fully equipped with all of the cooking supplies, and the patio was a great place to relax. Suzanne was quick to respond to my messages and very accommodating to my requests. I would totally stay here again, we miss it already!

Perfect place for family to hangout.
We rented this house out for the weekend of our daughters wedding at Cypress Falls. It was the perfect place for our family to hangout, we really enjoyed the back deck. The house itself is very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. This is the 2nd time we've rented the house and we love it. I think we will be back next fall.

Perfect weather, perfect place.
This home is so clean and well stocked. We loved watching the deer play on the golf course. The view from the back patio was amazing. Even though the home is in a residential neighborhood, it seemed very secluded. We had a wonderful time.
