Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad you enjoyed the location, river access, and that it worked well for your furry friend. We would love to welcome you back anytime!
Very convenient! Nice bedrooms and very clean. It’s a little noisy at night due to the market across the street equipment and loading dock activity.

Everything exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds, overall great property. Location right behind the grocery store was great for walking over to grab things but a little noisy with early morning deliveries.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the 11th Street River House. The house was immaculate and had a great layout, so you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their property. The river access was a little further of a walk than we expected, but the location was excellent. All of the places we wanted to go to were within and walking distance. We had a great stay and will definitely be coming back!
The home was perfect and exactly what was expected. The kitchen included everything needed. The living and dining rooms were comfortable. Nice touches like soft blankets for the unexpected cold snap and wonderful towels. We had a great time. Thank you - Barbara
We enjoyed the house and property greatly. As expected, the river was down, but it was still a lovely scene in the back of the property and we took advantage of walking around and enjoying the outdoors. The house is adorable, and well equipped. The only minor thing to be aware of is the noise from the grocery store coolers; you get used to it, but it's a constant hum like a lawn mower. Overall, highly recommend this location for adults and families with older kids!

Thanks for the wonderful review! We're glad you enjoyed the house and the outdoor scenery. We appreciate the feedback about the noise—it's helpful for future guests. Hope to have you back again soon!
Comfortable house. It did not have k-cup as advertised and the yard needed to be cut. We really weren't there except to sleep and clean up. Everything overall was good. Lots of different levels to negotiate getting in and out of the house. Not old people friendly.

Hi Beth, thank you for the 5-star review and we are happy you had a nice stay. We have a regular coffee maker listed as well as photos of it. Please reach out to us and let us know where you saw a mention of a K-cup so we can fix that. Just to clear it up for future guests, we added some language to the listing to identify there's one step up to get into the front of the home, and 2 steps down to get to the back patio from the back of the home. Those are the only two steps at the home, and we have photos of both areas in the listing. The only stairs we have are those leading to the river, which we also identify in the listing and include photos, too.
House was comfortable for our small group. Older home but well updated. Challenging route to the river via a long wood staircase and some distance across
mildly grown up bottom land. The Medina is one of the prettiest rivers in Texas. Not at it’s best during this long dry period we’re having. The host was very responsive and the house was very clean. The area pleasantly surprised us with two very interesting museums, fun shops and solid small town Texas restaurants. 15 minutes to Medina,Tx for apple cinnamon soft serve at Love’s Apple Store and about 20 minutes to Camp Verde for a nice restaurant/store and beautiful grounds to enjoy. Our trip was a success!

Pros & Cons
The house itself was fine, nothing special but adequate for our two-night stay. Though compact, the kitchen was pretty well appointed and we were able to make our Thanksgiving side dishes. Be advised there is no dishwasher. Also, decent coffee mugs are needed! When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned. Spencer was very apologetic and got a couple over later that evening to do a quick cleaning. The house was better but not spotless. Spencer comped us one night due to the cleaning schedule mix-up, which was much appreciated. The street is super noisy—loud motor noises from the grocery across the street and lots of motorcycles. That could be a problem for fussy sleepers and napping babies. As advertised, the back yard has a nice fire pit area, seating, long table, and dog proof fence. With the river access, I can see the house being a fun place during warm weather. I would give the house 4 stars but for it not being cleaned prior to our arrival.

Thank you for your detailed review. We're glad the house was adequate for your stay and that you were able to enjoy the kitchen. We apologize again for the house cleaning not being complete upon your arrival, but we're happy you provided us a little additional time for us to resolve it, and that you were happy with the cleaning when the crew left. We're glad you enjoyed the backyard and the river access, that's one of the best selling points of the home.
