Perfect Getaway

Great location for beach lovers. The pool was pretty big and well maintained. Staff in the building were very friendly and helpful. Also, a quick walk to Luquillo’s famous food kiosks. Overall, great stay.

Awesome stay

It was our second time staying at Jazmin’s place. Even better than the first time, new flooring on the patio, more kitchen items. We will return again and again. It’s the perfect spot.

Always love staying at Playa Azul

This property was perfect for our small family of 4, and it had all of the essentials for a great beach week. The terrace was so relaxing every morning and every evening. There was enough bedding and blankets for us to use both futons. The kitchen and bathrooms were super clean. We’d come back to stay again. Thanks!

Luquillo beach vacation

Nice location for a beach vacation. From the facility one can access the beach and walk for miles to Luquillo Beach and back. Because of building construction and security, guests/residents had to unlock several gates to go to and from the pool and the beach. This could be problematic for a large group unless several sets of keys are provided to the party renting (we did not ask this question so it may be a no-issue).

The place was very nice, love the view of the ocean, nice pool and the people was very nice, but it would of been nice if the elevator would of worked, out of the 4 elevators only one worked. Otherwise the place was great and definitely would go back.

Beautiful beach condo

We really enjoyed our stay at Jazmines condo, location was great, on the beac, 20 minute walk to luquillo food stands, 10 minutes to rainforest, short drive to the ferry terminal to see Culebra and other islands, to visit san jose was an easy drive also, stopping right across the street, condo was very clean it had everything we needed including the most beautiful view. Very deteriorated building

The apartment was clean and nice. The building is in such deteriorated conditions that I question its safety. Elevators not working, getting stock if more than 3 people on elevators, apartments with boards covering windows and balconies, rust all over the place, walls cracked, windows turned apart. I am very familiar with Playa Azul buildings and stayed there when I was a kid. I strongly recommend NOT to rent any apartments due to the complex and building deteriorated conditions..

Absolutely beautiful

This is an amazing rental in Luquillo. The view is wonderful. Steps from pool and a beautiful beach. Less than 2 miles from Luquillo kiosks with amazing food. Only 15 minutes from El Yunque rainforest where we took a cool night tour and hiked during the day. About 15 minutes from Fajardo, where we went on a snorkeling tour. Close to lots of restaurants and bars, and under 20 minutes from every kind of shopping. We had 2 adults in bedroom and 2 adult kids who each slept on a comfortable futon. There was only one blanket for 2 futons so we bought a second but otherwise, it was a fabulous place! Well stocked kitchen and beast decorated. Jazmyn was great at communicating. I definitely recommend this property and would rent again!

First time times 3

This was our first time renting a VRBO, first time in Luquillo, and our first time Puerto Rico. We enjoyed the balcony. We read, watched a sunrise, and enjoyed the views of the ocean and pool from up there. The pool and beach were great too. So many options! We chose not to rent a car but instead we walked most of the time or used Uber. Being close to the kiosks was great for us. Loved the food and drink options there. We found Capitol Burger on line and had a great time eating a burger while watching the Super Bowl at the bar. (Not a bad place if you're looking for a decent craft beer, bourbon, or glass of wine. Tell James we sent ya.) We found everyone in the complex to be pleasant and quick to offer help/suggestions. As a "for what it's worth" suggestion, I really don't have one. The condo had everything we needed and then some. Everything clean and in working order. Thank you!

We didn't get the code to the apartment until well after 3pm. The security guard in the lobby was nice enough to let us wait in the lobby area until we heard from the host. I had to call VRBO to get ahold of the host. The Shower was either scolding hot or freezing, no warm, and didn't drain very well. There is only one set of keys for everything, the room, pool, tennis courts and to get to the beach area. It would be much more convenient to have 2 sets for 4 adults, so you can do different things at the same time. And the bedding for the futons were the wrong size, the fitted sheet did not fit and you only get a couch throw for a blanket to sleep with (for every bed), doesn't cover an adult body. The property the apartment is on was great. The Beach out the gate was perfect. And the grocery store was across the street was handy. The kitchen has the bare minimal, if you plan on making any meals, there was a lot of improvising.

The location of this condo was terrific. You’ve got the beach, not that far away, and places to walk to to eat. The host was very responsive when we needed more towels. The view is incredible. That said, our word for this day was ‘Basic’. The photos look great, but what they don’t show is a bed that’s pretty uncomfortable, futons that have been re-stuffed and covered so that they’re not comfortable to use to sit on. The two chairs on the balcony are wonderful, but you have to balance that with both air-conditioning units coming out on the balcony and making noise and blowing hot air. The location of the bed with your head within arms reach of the air-conditioning unit blowing, is unfortunate. We ended up pushing the bed against the opposite wall so it wouldn’t be blowing on us. It is pretty noisy. We rarely, if ever, have ever had a good shower. Frequently the water was a trickle, most of the time it was cool. No hot shower for the 3 days we were there. The pool was closed for one of the 3 days we were there and the yardwork & power tools started pretty early. It was not a refreshing or real relaxing stay for us. And yes, we have been Puerto Rico multiple times and stayed in a lot of different locations so we’re not new to this.

The apartment is clean and has all the essentials. The mattresses on the full size futons are surprisingly thick and really comfortable. I wish the building management fixed the direct access to the pool and the beach, we had to walk outside the building and parking lot. Excellent location with fast food, a grocery store, and a pharmacy within walking distance. The kiosks of Luquillo are 3 mins drive. There’s a small place nearby called Antique Bakery that sells great sandwiches at good prices. I would definitely book again.
