Amazing 21st Floor Beachfront Apartment. Playa Azul ll, Luquillo

This newly renovated condominium is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom corner unit with 1250 square feet of beautifully maintained living space. It has a balcony that overlooks the panoramic views of the Rain Forest of El Yunque and the remarkable beaches of Luquillo from east to west.

Watch the beautiful sunsets and the changes in weather on the balcony on the 21st floor. Join the activities of the common area, the pools and basketball courts, Pickleball and Tennis Courts, and the playground equipment.

Large windows and fans in every room, provide us with wonderful circulation and light. Each bedroom has its own air conditioner. The master bedroom has a King size bed, a private bathroom, and a large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and dresser with a mirror. The third bedroom has a queen size bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a new stove, large clothes washer and dryer, AirFryer, toaster oven, coffee maker, toaster, all the utensils, and much more. Dining room table seats six. Extra chairs are available. The living room has a large comfortable sofa with a smart TV and high-speed Internet access.

A Blue Flag Public Beach is a mile away to the west, and towards the east end is a surfing beach within walking distance. All linens, towels, beach chairs, and sand toys are provided for you for fun in the sun.

We also provide a customized Welcome Guide to help you with your travels by developing local partnerships to benefit our guests. Transportation, Tours, and much more… will allow you to focus on relaxing.

The building complex provides a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week guarded entrance for the Condo complex. In addition, the building also provides a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week reception area at the lobby to safeguard the safety of the owners and guests and a parking area.

For your further enjoyment, there are three four-star hotels in close proximity. The Rio Mar, the Conquistador, and the Gran Melea at Coco Beach all have Championship Golf Courses, excellent restaurants, and casinos.

Grocery and drug stores, gas stations, dentists, and doctor's offices are all within walking distance.

The famous Puerto Rican Kiosks are located off the main highway (Rt.3) on the approach to Playa Azul.

All in all, our apartment is a wonderful place to spend your vacation time.

Love this place. It’s perfect for four people. I only say that because it a bit small. If you like firm beds this will be good for you. If you don’t , use extra pillows. There is a nice balcony that offers several chairs, ocean sounds and a lovely breeze and view. The building is older but in good shape. One can tell it took a beating from the 2017 hurricane. The build staff are lovely people and very friendly. We did not spend much time as the place only because it’s steps away from the beach. It’s in a great little area near several restaurants. We went to this little convenience store almost every day to buy drinks for cheap(8-10 US) Near that was a wonderful breakfast place with delicious food. luquillo beach ( calm beach) and kiosks are just down the road and surfer beach is on the other side. If plans to go to El Yunque it’s only a 15 minute drive. San Juan was 45 minutes. If going to old San Juan take an uber parking is terrible. Overall this is a great place and location. I would come back here again

Apartment was perfect, had everything we needed to eat some at home, great having a washer/dryer to use. Beds were comfortable. Many beach items to use. The view off the balcony was amazing, along with being able to walk right out to the beach! Within walking distance to many restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy. We felt safe in the complex and walking around to restaurants/grocery store. Would definitely recommend staying here! We had a great time!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this condo. I was so happy to see that they even provided beach chairs and boogie boards for my kids for the amazing waves! We look forward to staying again very soon! This condo was in the perfect location right on the beach, close to El Yunque, and the kioscos!

Exactly as described great location.

We loved the location. Nice mix of locals and retirees. Close to beaches and easy driving. We loved the balcony view and often there was a street musician set up so there was music floating on the tropical breeze. Just gorgeous.

Tropical paradise

I had the time of my life. The views were priceless, waking up to hearing and seeing the ocean from my bed is a memory I will never forget. The building is older but very safe, there was some sand in different places in the apartment, but the strong winds carry the sand inside and it's such a small price to pay for staying in paradise. I loved that it felt like a home and not a resort. I will recommend the apartment and the experience to anyone who wants a true Latin American/Caribbean beach experience. The owner was very attentive, the security guard so polite and pleasant. I can't say enough good things about my vacation here.

Great location

We booked this place as this part of island was recommended by friends. Fantastic location. The condo suited our needs perfectly, but really we only spent a small amount of time there. The beach is great and provides great walking in either direction. You can walk to several restaurants or bars. The view is exceptional. The bedding was comfortable and although towels are provided, I preferred the ones I packed for the beach. We went with 5 other families and we all booked within the one of the three buildings. We all said we would book here again.

A Wonderful Place To Stay!

We have stayed at Playa Azul six times and this was our favorite unit. Comfy balcony chairs to have coffee and enjoy the beautiful view. Comfy beds, quick coffee maker, a dishwasher, lots of tv to stream. George is a great host and the communication with him was the best of any place we ever rented. We can't wait to return!

Great location and view

Loved our stay here. 24 hour staff on site, gated parking and pool/grounds (we had no safety issues or concerns, but just a nice added measure). Best thing for us was the amazing beach right across the street. Green flag conditions every day we were here, and the beach is beautiful. Some reefs close to shore meant we used our snorkels and saw all sorts of fish. We loved starting our day looking out from the 21st floor view - the deck wraps around a bit for great breezes, and as the property is an end unit - you can look at the water and El Yunque mountain from the deck and inside the apartment from many angles. Would definitely go back!

Amazing Location

We took our first ever winter family trip. The property was nothing short of amazing! Plenty of room for a family of 3 with all the amenities. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and we spent a lot of time out there. Great beach access. Lots of great close conveniences. The owners were fantastic with communication. We stayed during the island wide power outage and they were amazing in letting us know what to do. Would 100% come back here.

Great Stay at Playa Azul II

Our family had a great week at Playa Azul II. The 3-bedroom condo offered plenty of room, a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and master bedroom, and plenty of amenities. We enjoyed the beach, body boarding, swimming, the basketball courts, and the pool on the property. Also enjoyed finding the local restaurants and trying the local cuisine. We had a great stay and will be back!

Second time staying here, great location. Our families our from Puerto Rico, so after visiting different towns its great to have a beautiful balcony at night to retreat to and enjoy the sounds of the waves and the coqui's. Beautiful spot. This is a beautiful spot to vacation! The beach is wonderful, perfect for our young kids. Plus the pool and proximity to El Yunque - it was exactly what we wanted. Very comfortable apartment. The hosts were helpful with our few questions. We had a little trouble with the 'odd floor' elevator, so we primarily used the 'even floor' elevator and walked up a flight. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Everything about the condo and the location was wonderful and exactly as described. Effortless check in process and great communication from the owners. So many extras in the condo as well. Beach chairs, beach towels, plenty of hangers in the closets, rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage. The beach is beautiful with crystal clear water. Water was very calm every day. Didn’t like the fact that you couldn’t access the pool area directly from the lobby. Instead you had to go out the front entrance around the side through parking lot and then through a keyed gate.

My family and I have rented for over 10 years, but we decided to buy when this apartment became available. My family and I spent our winters here and thought we would like our apartment to be open and used through the months that we were not able to be here.

Why they chose this property

During the winter months, this is a very friendly, active community. We have made many friends and feel safe and welcomed. The Puerto Rican people are warm and friendly and there are people from all over the US that have been coming here for many years. Puerto Rico is Caribbean Community with American influences that make it comfortable and interesting. There is a community here that is very culturally aware. They are actively involved in music and art. There are Museums, Shows, Festivals and all manor of events.
--no need ever to be bored... --happy vacationing...

What makes this property unique

There is a very active music and art community for us and many attractions like sailing, swimming, water sports of every kind, pony and horseback riding etc. There is something here for every one.
