Recent upgrades include custom curtains in the living room and master bedroom - other bedrooms have custom plantation blinds.

The entire ceiling has be redone and looks great! Recently painted and new Smart TVs installed! Located on the 11th floor offering optimal beach front views.

Beautiful Gulf Front condo in the heart of Orange Beach. Shoalwater has it all, in a luxurious setting. 11th floor condo with stunning views of the beach and the sandy white shoreline. This gulf front unit will amaze with clear view of the beach and the most amazing sunsets you have ever seen! The balcony provides spectacular views of the beach with living room floor to ceiling glass for crystal clear views. This unit offers the most beautiful views of the sandy white beaches and sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

This gulf front condo has wood look tile throughout the unit (no carpeting) with modern power recliners in the Living Room, each with USB charging ports! Full granite in both kitchen and both baths too.

Master bath has a walk in, tiled shower, with Guest bath with tub and tiled walls. Great condo for a beach getaway!!

Complex has 3 pools - outdoor, kiddie pool, and indoor heated pool with hot tub, on-site tennis court and fitness facility.

Great on the ocean property convenient to all Orange Beach has to offer. We had two families of 4 in the condo and while it was tight at times, the condo had plenty of seating. Both king beds slept perfectly and kids loved the bunk bed room. Facilities were well kept and clean. Only complaint was slow elevators that shut quickly.

Perfect Fall Break Getaway

This condo was perfect for our family's fall break. The condo and resort were clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning with a perfect view of the ocean and there was plenty of room for our family. We would love to come back in the future.

Overall, it was a great stay!

PROS: - very nicely decorated - just as shown in photos - plenty of balcony seating and living room seating - round tables on balcony and dining room were perfect for playing cards - perfect beach view - you can literally sleep 4 more people on the comfortable living room reclining furniture - short boardwalk/very close to the beach CONS: - bath towels are TINY - bedroom balcony door handle is broken off - dryer took several cycles to dry - living room ceiling is flaking/falling - baseboards were dirty/found some Cheerios on the floor

Overall Bliss

The property was beautiful and well maintained. It is beautifully decorated. The layout allowed 7 people to stay comfortably. One thing, the cleaning crew should clean under the beds. There was trash and even a T-shirt from a previous visitor. We used the coffee pot stored in the laundry area for coffee instead of the Keurig. The coffee pot had moldy grounds. The extra details don't take a long time but make a huge difference. Overall, we had an amazing time at a beautifully decorated condo with an amazing view of the ocean!!

The condo was very nice and just as advertised. Location was great, close to everything and easy beach access. There are several games in the closet and our family loved playing those. Beds/couches were very comfy. The things we didn't care for was that every dish in the cabinets had food and/or a sticky substance on them and had to be washed before being used. We also didn't like the "violation police" that walked around and gave out violations. We were getting ready to go to dinner, sat our trash out to take it down with us as we left and got a violation. Others staying beside us got violation for having towels on their balcony. Seemed a little extreme. Also, the elevators weren't working properly and one of them was shut down completely, which made traveling to/from the 11th floor long/difficult.

Even though the dishes are up to the guests, we’ve followed up with our cleaning team to make sure this doesn’t happen again. As for the security, we understand it can feel a bit strict, but their goal is to keep Shoalwater a clean, safe, and enjoyable place for everyone. We appreciate your understanding on that front. We're just now learning there was any elevator outage and are sorry to hear that—issues like that can definitely be frustrating, especially when you're on a higher floor. Dirty & Beg Bugs

The second night we were there we notice bedbugs in one room along with the bed falling apart. I called Mgr. they came and fixed the bed part, but for the bedbugs they sprayed and basically said we brought them in with us. They put bed bug protectors on the beds which never had them from the start & should have already. Wouldn't get us another room. They offered me credit which wasn't anything. We found over 5-8 bedbugs. This was the worst vaca I have ever had. Gulfsands / Shoalwater should be sent to the board of health. I will never go there again and I hope nobody else does, because when we were getting ready to leave we talked to 2 other couples that had the same issue, they threw the mattresses away. Our unit behind the beds were dusty and dirty & you could see the bedbugs, food and trash in between the couch cushions. Dirty in corners of rooms, just an all over dirty place. I told the MGR & they sent a cleaning lady which really didn't do anything, she changed the sheets again. We found underwear in the dresser draws also they were dirty inside them. Then I called VRBO & they wanted to send me to a HOTEL that can handle bedbugs and didn't offer anything else. I asked why and she said they can handle bedbugs at these places. Basically wanted to send my family to a bedbug infested HOTEL.. I paid good money for this place and I work very hard for my money, I was just very upset with the out come of this situation.. Seemed like nobody cared & basically it was my fault.

We take cleanliness and pest control very seriously and would like to address your concerns openly. Upon receiving your report, we conducted a thorough investigation of the unit. We identified only two insects, which generally indicates that the issue may have been introduced by personal items rather than being an existing problem in the unit. We found no evidence of bedbugs in the bedding, mattresses, box springs, or other furnishings. You also agreed that it was possible the pests could have been brought in with your luggage or personal items. We acted swiftly to address the situation. The unit was treated, all bedding was encased in protective covers, and linens were removed. We also treated other rooms with biological insecticides as a precaution. In response to your initial decision to leave, we offered a refund for the unused nights. When you chose to stay, we provided a complimentary night as a courtesy to mitigate the inconvenience. We continue to uphold rigorous cleanliness and pest control standards. Our management company changes linens after each guest, and there was no indication of an pests in any of the inspected areas. We understand how distressing this situation was and regret that your experience was not as expected. We regret that you were dissatisfied with the outcome, but it appears the request for a full refund seems disproportionate considering the steps we took to resolve the issue, your readiness to stay in the unit for 8 more days and the subsequent lack of evidence of any pest issue at all. We appreciate your feedback, which helps us ensure the highest standards for all our guests. We hope this response clarifies the steps we took and reassures potential guests of our commitment to providing a clean and comfortable environment.
