The place was beautiful and the host Will was really nice and not argumentative which we appreciated. However we chose to leave after the first night because the cleaning crew that he used did not do a thorough job before our stay.
We booked here in the off season. Overall the property was great, we couldn’t imagine how great it would be in peak season. There were a few issues that were addressed quickly and completely. We would definitely consider booking again!
The property was beautiful, relaxing and an amazing place for any family. There was a gorgeous butterfly tree that you could just spend hours looking at.
This is an absolutely beautiful home, with lots of sleeping options and two separate living areas. The pool set in the wildlife forest was breathtaking. The kitchen was well-appointed, with two ovens and very nice cookware. It was so nice having three full baths and one half bath for our large party. They provided numerous bath towels, as well as beach towels for the pool. All the beds were extremely comfortable, and the private peaceful setting is so relaxing. We definitely want to return here in the future!

Our stay from Aug 8–11, 2025, was very disappointing. For two days (Aug 10–11), there was no running water, making it impossible to meet basic needs. When water returned, it was discolored and unusable. The kitchen had ants, affecting food storage. The ice maker, listed as an amenity, was not present. The bathroom sink drain stopper stayed stuck closed for the entire stay. This experience did not match expectations for the price paid.
We absolutely loved this place! It is on a beautiful lot with very tasteful interior design and the layout was perfect for our family. We used the pool everyday and rented the property primarily for this feature. Issue - which were communicated to our host early in the week- microwave was not working properly and only heating sporadically.
Issue reported at check-out - ant problems to the point where my bag of tootsie roll pops was covered in ants and noticed at pack up. There were ant traps all over the counter so it is clear that the issue has been ongoing.

Not what we expected let alone hoped for
Inside was nice some stains, missing bulbs, broken ice maker, broken microwave (notified at check in but in earlier reviews), broken ceiling fan (also notified at check in). If children are present, there are tools & chemicals in their reach in kitchen cabinets. Open items like spices, coffee, tea, sugar, flour, pasta, beer, condiments, ice cream, hair care, soap and more. All open & used by previous tenants. Many are fine with this but it’s not safe or sanitary & they have ants. Opened windows to find dead bugs (even cockroaches) & dirt that need vacuumed out.All outdoor areas need cleaned, swept, weeds pulled, last falls spent blooms, piles of dead leaves, the pool hadn’t been cleaned, outdoor cushions waterlogged with moss. The pool missing ladder from the deep end & no lighting on it, both safety problems. A few feet from house & it’s pitch black. It’s quiet & secluded but HVAC came Friday & landscaper for hours on Saturday/Sunday so our privacy was lost to preparing for upcoming tenants.suggestions: organizing for safety, sweep patios/decks, add safety lighting outside, put a binder of property rules instead of sending a ton of messages at check in, schedule landscaping, HVAC, and pool maintenance during non booked hours instead of inconveniencing guests, & go through the items left behind & evaluate for potential expiration, safety concerns & compliance with public health.
We (5 Adults) stayed here for a long weekend over Labor Day. First off this house is perfect, there were very few issues with the house itself. We enjoyed the pool very much and the way the butterflies just flew around in the back was pretty magical. The pool was awesome and very deep, made for great swimming and diving. The internet was terrible but we were well aware of that beforehand, it works for basic email checking but not for streaming.
I think all of the issues I saw were related to this being a new listing and getting some processes down. We arrived at 3:40PM for a 4:00 PM check in and the cleaners were still inside, so we waited. They didn't leave until 4:30PM at which point we still did not even have a code to get in the house. I had to reach out for it. Checking in 30 minutes late doesn't sound like much but after driving 4 hours to get there it was slightly annoying.
Other than the check in delay, the house was missing some basic necessities that would have made the stay run more smoothly. For example, there was one roll of toilet paper per bathroom with no backup, there was no hand soap by any of the sinks, and there were no cooking knives in the kitchen. Also, the coffee machine is Kuerig only which we were unaware of.
Overall, this is an easy 5/5 stay. The house is gorgeous and any downsides were minor annoyances, nothing major. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone thinking about it, it really is a magical place.
