Parking garage was great, everything was clean, beds were super comfy, showers were good, very limited kitchen utensils/no microwave. Nice having a patio. We had a great time!!!
THIS IS NOT AIR B N B! VROB is for stand alone properties. Not a converted garage behind the home of the property owner. Photos denote a courtyard looking at the back of the property owners home! The only private entry is through a garage entry in an alley, otherwise you can utilize a side gate to the backyard to get to the converted garage. The property was nice and updated just not for VRBO. A SimpliSafe security camera set up was on the kitchen countertop! No cameras were disclosed in the listing so I have no idea where they were located! Property owner did not give check in information until 30 minutes before arrival. Had no idea where to park, if I would need to meet offsite for access, etc. He did try to give me information by calling about an hour before arrival while I was in traffic, after I sent emails, texts and left a voicemail asking for this information days ahead of time. The neighborhood…it’s transitioning. I would not feel safe walking in this neighborhood at all. It may be a nice place to visit in coming years but our travel party did not feel safe. Called VRBO to voice my concerns, I’m really shocked this hasn’t been pulled. They verified the violations concerning a shared property and undisclosed cameras. I took photos of the set up and they confirmed this is what they are as they are sold on Amazon. I reached out to the property owner about my concerns and received zero response as well.

The property”garage” as you reference to has history to it. The building was once used to store bourbon barrels which is why it’s called “Bourbon House” I have had several guest especially female nurses who have stayed for 3-6 months at a time who never had a problem with the area. The location is located in a historic area east of downtown which is why this location is very popular to tourists who visit Louisville. A restaurant owner opened up a restaurant a block away and walked to and from his business. The camera you had mentioned was a SimpliSafe hub that operates the security on the property while it’s vacant. Everything thing you have said is a bad opinion on your part and especially making this false accusations about this property. I have 2 other houses all next to each other that were all occupied by people who were attending the same event as you. All of them thought it was funny that you never even stayed, your loss.
